Do Kyung-wan received surgery for acute osteomyelitis

Do Kyung-wan confesses that he had surgery for acute finger osteomyelitis.

On Channel A's 'Best Friend Documentary - Table for 4' (hereafter referred to as 'Table for 4') airing today (the 12th), an episode featuring announcer-turned-actress and broadcaster 'Oh Jeong-yeon' will be aired.

Oh Jung-yeon is known as a person with a wealth of hobbies, including biking, scuba diving, horseback riding, golf, tennis, and soccer. Boasting a love for bikes that is so great that she owns as many as four bikes, Oh Jung-yeon debuted as a motorcycle racer this year and won third place in a competition held last July. She also successfully completed a bike tour guide in collaboration with a travel agency, and she is hosting a 'hobby-in-a-job' celebration party by inviting jazz teacher and soulmate jazz godmother Yoon Hee-jung, KBS announcer Lee Ji-ae, and junior Do Kyung-wan.

The friends who arrived home see with their own eyes the reality of Oh Jung-yeon's hobby room that they had only heard about. They say that Oh Jung-yeon tried to dissuade her from riding a bike because she was afraid it might be dangerous, but no one could stop her. Lee Ji-ae confesses that she strongly opposed her husband, former MBC announcer Kim Jung-geun, who even got a license because he wanted to ride a bike, saying, "If you're not going to live with me, ride." Do Kyung-wan also wanted to ride a bike, so he consulted his wife Jang Yoon-jeong, but eventually gave up due to strong opposition. However, Jang Yoon-jeong actually wanted to ride, and he said that she seemed to have a secret instinct for speed, which made people laugh.

Oh Jung-yeon surprises her friends by revealing the reason and inner thoughts that led her to become so engrossed in her hobby. She confesses that she had been suppressing herself as the good eldest daughter of K under her father who was so strict that curfew was at 10 pm when she was in college. She says that when she was working, she did everything she was told to do, to the point that her honeymoon was her first vacation, but she never really looked back on her own heart. She recalls that time when she suffered from severe burnout around the age of 35 and cut off contact with everyone.

Do Kyung-wan, who underwent five surgeries last year due to acute finger osteomyelitis. He reveals his recent situation, where he suffered from side effects of antibiotics, such as red tears, urine, and feces after taking antibiotics for over a year. Do Kyung-wan then tells of his recent situation, where he started buying watches without telling Jang Yoon-jeong with the insurance money for his surgery after his treatment, and has since found a hobby of studying and collecting watches, which has made him happy.
