Kim Soo-mi's son, Myung-ho Jeong, confessed that he did not feel any affection between family members.
In the TV Chosun entertainment show 'Dad and Me' that aired on the 3rd, Seo Hyo-rim's father and husband were shown having drinks for the first time since Seo Hyo-rim's marriage.
The two people's drinking party began in an awkward atmosphere. Jeong Myeong-ho said, "My friends said that these days, daughters don't want to talk to their fathers even when they are in the upper grades of elementary school. They told me to treat them as well as possible when they are young and in my arms." He then confessed, "Hyorim told me that. She said that when she was young, her father washed all her slippers, ironed her school uniform, and dried her hair." In an interview with the production crew, Jung Myung-ho said, "Ever since I was young, I felt sad and disappointed because there was not much peace between my family. I think Hyo-rim came to me with a feeling of envy when she said, 'What did Dad do for me?' So my daughter felt regretful. “I felt like I had to do better so I wouldn’t feel bad,” he confessed. He honestly said, “There were times when I wished my father-in-law was my father.” Seo Hyo-rim, who watched the video, was moved and said, “My husband is sad too.”
Seo Hyo-rim's father was also worried about Jung Myung-ho's excessive drinking. Seo Hyo-rim said that Jung Myung-ho "cut down on his drinking a lot. He said he likes hanging out with Joy better these days." When Seo Hyo-rim's father said, "You need to realize yourself and change," Seo Hyo-rim said, "But you're kind, aren't you?" In response, Seo Hyo-rim's father laughed, saying, "He's nice, but you have to pay for his age. He's in his 50s."
