tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Player 2: War of the Crooks' (written by Park Sang-moon and Choi Seul-gi, directed by Jae-hyun Jae, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by People Story Company) Scammers, hackers, fighters, drivers! The more powerful 'scammers' are back! It is a team-play action scam drama that cleanses off the 'haves', and Lee Si-eon takes on the role of 'Lim Byeong-min' in the play and meets viewers in season 2 following season 1.
Lim Byeong-min is a hacker with the ‘Hand of God’ who can disable all computer networks in the world. He appears timid and light-hearted on the outside, but at the scene of the operation, he appears serious and will act as a strong supporter of the 'criminals'. Lee Si-eon is expected to capture the hearts of viewers by expressing 'Lim Byeong-min' with his unique, sly and cheerful acting, bringing vitality to the play.
In the meantime, Lee Si-eon has accumulated a wide spectrum of acting through consistent work, playing characters ranging from a tsundere assistant to a veteran detective to a character who crosses eras in four roles. In particular, he received a lot of love for his life-oriented acting in Season 1 of 'The Player'.
In addition, Lee Si-eon played a vital role in entertainment programs with his natural wit and sense. He joined as the eldest brother in the recently aired MBC 'Around the World 3' and showed his indispensable presence by taking good care of the members and leading the atmosphere. Accordingly, expectations are high on what kind of appearance Lee Si-eon, who has proven himself as a 'hexagon all-rounder' who is capable of both acting and entertainment, will show in 'Player 2: War of the Clans'.
Meanwhile, 'Player 2: War of the Clans', starring Lee Si-eon, Song Seung-heon, Oh Yeon-seo, Tae Won-seok, and Jang Gyu-ri, will premiere at 8:50 pm on Monday, June 3.
