Widowed Song Seon-mi found comfort thanks to her daughter.

Song Seon-mi revealed that she was comforted by her daughter after losing her husband.

Song Seon-mi appeared as a guest on TV Chosun's 'Gourmet Heo Young-man's Baekban Travels' (hereinafter referred to as 'Baekban Travels'), which aired on the 26th.

Heo Young-man and Song Seon-mi went on a food tour to Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do's Gwangmyeong Park-sok octopus soup restaurant, hand dumpling restaurant, and duruchigi restaurant. Heo Young-man was surprised by Song Seon-mi's tall height and joked, "What if someone so tall comes wearing such high shoes?" Song Seon-mi laughed and said, “I’m sorry I don’t have low shoes.”

Heo Young-man asked Song Seon-mi's debut story, saying, "Did you start as a model and not an actor?" Song Seon-mi said, "That's right," and recalled, "I started acting within six months of becoming a model. I didn't study acting, so I learned acting while working in the field." He then said, “The camera directors asked why I was so tall,” and recalled the ‘manner bridge shoot.’

Two people went to a hand dumpling restaurant. Song Seon-mi said, “After I got married, my mother-in-law made dumplings and we made them together.” When Heo Young-man asked, "Which is more delicious," Song Seon-mi responded, "This is more delicious," causing laughter.

Song Seon-mi suddenly lost her husband due to an unexpected incident in 2017. Song Seon-mi revealed that although she was out of her mind after losing her husband, she gained strength from her daughter.

Heo Young-man asked, “Has your daughter grown up a lot?” Song Seon-mi was secretly disappointed, saying, "I'm in the third grade of elementary school. I was completely dependent on my mom, but she doesn't ask me to play with her as much as she used to." He then boasted, "I'm short, but my proportions are good. I have long legs, so it might have affected me."

Song Seon-mi also introduced a children's book she wrote with her daughter. Song Seon-mi explained, "My daughter drew the drawings and I wrote the words. It's a fairy tale about a princess named Ariko who meets the person she loves, then loses her husband and lives toward the future with her daughter." Song Seon-mi read a passage she particularly liked. In the play, when the mother said she was scared, the daughter shouted courage three times, made a heart with her hands, and placed it on her mother's chest. Song Seon-mi said, “This is actually what my daughter told me. When I feel afraid and hesitant in life, I always say this to myself and to my daughter.”
