Actor Kim Dong-young Joins the Cast of Fantasy Thriller 'S-Line'

The Wave original drama 'S-Line' is a fantasy thriller that unveils forbidden desires and hidden truths as a red line, known as the S-Line, begins to appear between people who have had sexual relationships. With talented actors like Lee Soo-hyuk, Lee Da-hee, Arin, and Lee Eun-sam already confirmed, the addition of Kim Dong-young has heightened anticipation.
In the drama, Kim Dong-young will play 'Dongsik', a detective in the violent crimes unit at Bangju Police Station. As the junior and ally of Han Ji-wook (played by Lee Soo-hyuk), Dongsik assists Ji-wook in uncovering the secrets of the S-Line and the truth behind a murder case. Known for his immersive acting, Kim Dong-young is expected to shine as he portrays a character who bravely dives into investigations to reveal the truth.
Kim Dong-young has showcased a diverse filmography, leaving a mark on audiences with roles in films like 'Punch', 'Believer 1 & 2', 'Cobweb', 'The Boys', and dramas such as 'My Too Perfect Sons', 'Drinking Solo', 'D.P.', 'Moonlit Winter', and 'Sweet Home 2'.
Particularly in the Netflix film 'Believer 1 & 2', he received praise for his detailed sign language performance as 'Manko', a drug manufacturer and brother to a deaf sibling. In 'The Boys', he delivered a poignant emotional performance as 'Kwon Chang-ho', a boy wrongfully accused, leaving a lasting impression.
With each project, Kim Dong-young has consistently impressed with his stable acting skills. Expectations are high for his role in 'S-Line' and how he will captivate audiences.
Meanwhile, the Wave original drama 'S-Line' will release two episodes on July 11th (Friday), July 18th (Friday), and July 25th (Friday), totaling six episodes.
