Sunye expressed her longing for her deceased grandmother.

In the 253rd episode of KBS 2TV's entertainment show 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears' (hereinafter referred to as 'Donkey Ears'), which aired on the 14th, Kim Soo-mi invited Sunye and Park Jang-hyun, who appear together in the musical 'My Mother's Mom,' to her hometown Gunsan. Chef Jeong Ji-seon also joined.

Sunye, who plays the role of Kim Soo-mi's daughter in the play, said, "His charisma is still unmatched. I wanted to become closer to him, so I decided to join him in Gunsan."

Kim Soo-mi took chefs Sunye, Park Jang-hyun, and Ji-seon Jeong to Malraengi Village, where she spent her childhood. Kim Soo-mi's birthplace was preserved in Mallaengi Village. Kim Soo-mi said, "Doing 'My Mom' reminded me of my mother and made me miss her. I brought her here to immerse my juniors in it."

1 Kim Soo-mi looked around the house, saw a well, and was moved to tears as she remembered her memories with her mother. Kim Soo-mi remembered, "He passed away when I was 18. When I was 14, I went to Seoul and received a telegram saying that my mother had passed away, so I came down and paid for my mother." He also expressed his longing for his mother, saying, “I wish my mom could come down for just one day and sleep in the master bedroom.”

Kim Soo-mi held Sunye's hand and said, "I grew up in the hands of my grandmother without a mother, so I think my grandmother is my mother." Sunye said, "When I think of the word mother, my grandmother comes to mind. She raised seven siblings and raised me, her granddaughter, last. She said, 'I was happiest when I was raising you.' It may have been difficult, but she raised me passionately."

He continued, "When he saw that I started a family and had a child at an early age, he said, 'It's okay because you have a family too.' After my eldest child's first birthday party, my grandmother passed away from a chronic illness. I think she went to heaven in peace." He also said, “Longing for someone is something you never forget,” creating a moving feeling.

It is said that Sunye was left in the care of her grandmother and grandfather after her parents divorced, and her mother passed away when she was around 5 years old.
