Lee Tae-hwan, Jeong In-seon and Choi Si-won in a love triangle

Actor Lee Tae-hwan, who completed his military service, will appear in TV Chosun's new weekend mini-series 'DNA Lover'.

On the 8th, his agency Man of Creation announced, "Lee Tae-hwan will appear in TV Chosun's new weekend mini-series 'DNA Lover', which will premiere in June." 'DNA Lover' is a romantic comedy that engages all five senses in which Han So-jin (played by Jeong In-seon), a genetic researcher who has failed in numerous relationships, finally finds her match through genes.

In the drama, Lee Tae-hwan takes on the role of Seo Kang-hoon, a handsome firefighter and So-jin's safety ringtone who always receives calls from Han So-jin with zero priority. Kang Hoon is a character who shares Sojin's joys and sorrows, and forms a love triangle by protecting Sojin from Yeonwoo (played by Siwon Choi).

Kang Hoon, played by Lee Tae-hwan, is a 119 firefighter. Unlike his visuals that may evoke romantic imaginations, he is a wild rescue firefighter who fights fire. He is a man who cannot change his mind once he has made up his mind, whether it be about work or people, and is expected to shake women's hearts with his charm that contrasts with Yeonwoo, who will be entangled in a love triangle by showing an honest and strong sense of responsibility to the point of being smart about his promises.

Lee Tae-hwan, who enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the Army in June 2022 and was fully discharged in December of last year, has met the public through various works and entertainment shows. As this is the return of the actor who has accumulated a wide acting spectrum regardless of genre, the public's attention is focused on his future actions.
