Cha Eun-woo, ending master
Cha Eun-woo is playing the role of Kwon Seon-yul, who lives a rough life on his own in order to uncover the truth about his parents' death, in the currently airing MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Wonderful World'.
In the 12th episode of 'Wonderful World', which aired on the 6th, Seonyul attended the funeral of her mother Kim Eun-min (played by Kang Myeong-joo) and was devastated upon learning the true identity of her father Kwon Ji-woong (played by Oh Man-seok). He lived only out of revenge against Eun Soo-hyun (Kim Nam-joo), but when he realized that he was actually the same victim, he said, "I wanted to live a normal life. I wanted to be a good son, and all I had left was my desire for revenge on you, Eun Soo-hyun. What should I do?" The self-blaming and confused feelings were revealed without hesitation, increasing immersion in the character.
Seonyul began to pursue the truth about everything again with Suhyeon, who came to visit and encourage her. He knew that the real perpetrator was Kim Jun (played by Park Hyeok-kwon), but he couldn't move while Eun-min was alive, revealing his detailed side once again, maximizing the tension in the play.
Afterwards, Seonyul moves in earnest to bring down Kim Jun. He heightened the mystery by stimulating rival lawmakers and sharing information with Soo-hyeon. In addition, the fact that Kim Jun was included in the target of Seonyul's revenge and the SD card hidden in Eun-min's necklace was used to find Geon-woo's tablet, which was a crucial clue to the case, added interest to future developments.
Cha Eun-woo is drawing favorable reviews in each episode by expressing Kwon Seon-yul's desolation and deep sadness as he faces the real truth, as well as his momentary emotional changes with tears, distorted expressions, and a low voice. In particular, the deep anger and sadness that the past melody expressed towards the perpetrator of Eun-min's accident made the viewers more immersed in the drama.
As unpredictable facts are slowly coming to the surface ahead of the ending, attention is focused on what kind of ending the melody at the center of all this will have.
