'Trigger' actor Joo Jong-hyuk, acting with Kim Hye-soo and Jeong Seong-il

Actor Joo Jong-hyuk returns with Disney+'s 'Trigger'.

'Trigger' is a story about Oh So-ryong, the righteous team leader of Trigger, an investigative reporting program that tracks cases that the prosecution and police could not solve, and Han Han, a parachute PD with zero social skills. Actors Kim Hye-soo, Jeong Seong-il, and Joo Jong-hyuk appear.

Actors Kim Hye-soo and Jeong Seong-il served as team leaders and producers of the investigative reporting program 'Trigger', and Joo Jong-hyuk played the role of Kang Ki-ho, the youngest PD full of passion. Kang Ki-ho is an ambitious man with stubbornness and determination who dreams of rising to the rank of main director.

Joo Jong-hyuk said, "I am very excited to participate in a work with seniors and directors whom I have always liked and respected. I will do my best to add fun to our drama with attractive, living, breathing characters."

Disney+ ‘Trigger’ will be released in the second half of 2024.
