Dex, survival experience worker
In the MBC and Lifetime co-production 'College Sports Festival: Boys' Athletes' Village (hereinafter referred to as College Sports Festival)', which aired for the first time on the 18th, all of Korea's leading sports schools participated, providing thrilling catharsis with fierce nerves and tight matches.
In particular, sports legends from Kyunghee University, Korea University, Dongguk University, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, Yongin University, Chung-Ang University, and Korea National Sport University (in alphabetical order) directly sent cheering messages to their juniors, giving them a warm feeling. Seongbin Yoon, the coach of the 'University Sports Festival', encouraged the juniors of Korea National Sport University by saying, "We have to put the school's honor on the line and come in first place," foreshadowing an exciting competition.
Students from eight universities gathered in the arena's lounge exchanged checks by directly mentioning the winning and eliminated candidates. While Korea National Sport University, which produced the most national team members and medalists, was ranked as the top priority for students to keep in check, captain Ahn Si-hyeon made a wide-ranging provocation, saying, "Thank you for coming so far to get second place," and heated up the atmosphere at the scene.
After completing their first meeting with coaches Jang Eun-sil, Lee Dae-hoon, Yoon Seong-bin, and Dex, the students competed in the first round of the main event rankings, which consisted of obstacle running, bar pushing, and 30kg medicine ball jumping. As the school that ranked first in the first round was given the right to decide on the second round, which would determine the first elimination, the students entered battle mode, establishing their own winning strategies.
Above all, the underdog's rebellion took place in the obstacle race, the first game of the 'University Sports Festival', attracting attention. Dongguk University, which was designated as the weakest by most universities, took first place in Group A of the preliminaries and advanced to the finals, showing off its strength in athletics for entrance exams. In addition, an unexpected event occurred in which track and field athlete Park Chan-yang of Sungkyunkwan University was eliminated, surprising everyone.
Additionally, in group B of the preliminaries, Jo Hong-jo of Korea National Sport University showed overwhelming skills and took first place, and in preliminary groups C and D, Sungkyunkwan University's Lee Myung-woo and Kyunghee University's Kim Hyun-woo advanced to the finals. The immersion of coaches and viewers soared to the extreme in a famous game where one could never predict what was ahead.
While the game was in progress, the coaches were deeply immersed in the game by observing the strengths and weaknesses of the players and the flow of the game.
