Kim Jae-hwan, expertise that improved the quality of the first screening of ‘Build Up’
Kim Jae-hwan appeared as a judge on Mnet's 'Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival' (hereinafter referred to as 'Build Up'), which first aired on the 26th.
'Build Up' is a vocal survival show where talented people who are confident in vocals and love vocals, regardless of genre, come together to become the best vocal boy group. Vocalist Kim Jae-hwan, loved for his solid singing ability and attractive tone, played an active role as a judge, alternating between cheerfulness and cool-headedness.
On this day, Kim Jae-hwan participated in the ‘PRE-4 Mission’ screening. He lightened the mood with his witty remarks and explained the judging criteria, saying, "I've seen many cases where people were overly emotional or out of breath because they were very nervous. Even so, I hope their expressions sound natural and comfortable."
In the subsequent screening, Kim Jae-hwan attracted attention with his cool and detailed evaluation. He gave a careful yet sharp evaluation to one participant, saying, "It looks like he studied a lot of facial expressions and gestures when singing, but it also felt like he was in a hurry to follow along. I think his voice color didn't seem unique." In response, other participants appeared nervous, saying, “He looks at them coldly” and “I’m nervous.”
