Drama 'Queen of Divorce' actor Kang Ki-young, spectrum of comfort

A pictorial for fashion magazine 'Elle' featuring actor Kang Ki-young's witty charm has been released.

In the pictorial, Kang Ki-young captured a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. Along with 'Elle', it also contains interviews related to Kang Ki-young's next work, the JTBC drama 'Queen of Divorce'.

Kang Ki-young, who played the role of lawyer Dong-jun Dong in 'Queen of Divorce', said, "Unfortunately, he often played the role of wearing a suit. If Jung Myung-seok in 'Weird Lawyer Woo Young-woo' is faithful to the law and willing to follow the role of the client's mercenary, Dong-jun Dong is a troubleshooter. "It's close. He goes back and forth between legality and expediency. There are many people who fall into traps during the divorce process, and he is a person who seeks justice for them," he explained.

Regarding his feelings about playing the male lead in a romance drama for the first time, he said, "I was unfamiliar with the idea of being next to the other person in a romantic drama, and I was scared because I had never acted before, but when I tried it, it was interesting because I was able to feel and express new emotions. I was called the 'male lead.' “I felt a great sense of responsibility for my existence,” he said.

When asked what kind of actor he wanted to become in the future, Kang Ki-young said, "The most grateful thing I heard as an actor was the compliment, 'There are people who don't know you, but I haven't met anyone who hates you.' I want to create that comfort for those who like me. “I want to broaden the spectrum. I want to become an actor who can be this, that, and still please the eyes of the viewer,” he expressed his aspirations.
