Actress Soo-hyun expressed her hardships about working as a working mother.

On the 12th, Soohyun met with Ten Asia at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel located in Jung-gu, Seoul and told various stories about the Netflix original series 'Gyeongseong Creature'.

'Gyeongseong Creature' is a work that tells the story of two young people whose only thing was survival, confronting a monster born of greed in the spring of 1945, when the darkness of the era was deepest. Su-hyeon played the role of Yukiko Maeda, a Japanese noblewoman who enjoys the most power and wealth in Gyeongseong, and played a key role in holding the key to the secrets of Ongseong Hospital.

‘Gyeongseong Creature’ is Soohyun’s comeback work after giving birth. In 2019, he married Cha Min-geun, an entrepreneur who is three years older than him, and gave birth to his first daughter in October 2020. ‘Chimera’, released in 2021, is a work that was filmed before pregnancy.

Su-hyeon recalled the time of filming 'Gyeongseong Creature' and said, "Giving birth, returning to work, and COVID-19 coincided. I don't think being a working mother is easy for women. As a female actress, I was very eager to return. You felt that eagerness, right?" she said. “I was asked if I was very tired, and I think I was. Because as you live longer, you learn more. I wanted you to feel that you have grown as an actor,” he said.

Su-hyeon showed ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ to her 3-year-old daughter. He said, "In the play, Maeda tells Jang Tae-sang (played by Park Seo-joon), 'Please die,' and leaves in a car. My daughter, who saw that scene, asked if her mother was coming to her in that car. I guess I wanted to do that because it is difficult for working mothers to carve out time. “He expressed his affection.

When asked if she didn't have much time for childcare due to filming, Soohyun said, "I didn't have as much time as other mothers. My husband takes care of my childcare a lot. I think my daughter only knows that I'm on TV."

Suhyun expressed her determination, saying, “While filming ‘Gyeongseong Creature,’ I filmed ‘Surviving as a Celebrity Manager,’ and also filmed ‘Ordinary Family.’ There were a lot of things I wanted to do, and I want to continue doing various things.”

When asked if there were any comments from her husband, she coolly replied, "There were no special comments. The whole family did not watch 'Gyeongseong Creature' together."
