Drama 'Welcome to Samdali' actor Ji Chang-wook pours out his heart to his father Yu Oh-seong
Cho Yong-pil (Ji Chang-wook) in 'Welcome to Samdali' is expressing his affection for his long-time dream, Jo Sam-dal (Shin Hye-sun). For eight years after breaking up with Samdal, he refused to meet anyone and refused to meet anyone, and he silently watched and supported her flight from Jeju.

Even if he has to wait a long time for the next bus, he never rides the bus driven by Samdal's father Pan-sik (Seo Hyeon-cheol).
Therefore, after hearing the news that Samdal had returned to his hometown, Sangtae called Jeju Meteorological Administration Manager Han Seok-gyu (Lee Tae-hyung) and asked him to persuade Yongpil to go to the headquarters in Seoul. Seeing his father like that, Yongpil jokingly said, "Why do you keep trying to send your son to the mainland? When your father gets married, I will get rid of him cleanly."
Yongpil, like that, is planning to explode his buried emotions towards his father, Sangtae. In the still cut, Sang-tae is complaining because he is displeased with Yong-pil who keeps paying attention to the Samdal family. Yongpil, who is confused as he sees this situation, finally vents out his feelings that he had been suppressing for so long.
In the preview video for episode 9, Yongpil is showing his sorrow by beating his heart hard and saying, "I'm holding it in like this too. Just hold on. It feels like it's going to come out twelve times a day." Nevertheless, Sang-tae's decisive words, "I should hate you too. Why did your mother die?" draw attention to the story of why he harbored resentment toward the Samdal family.
