Drama 'The Matchmakers' Rowoon and Jo Yi-hyun were embarrassed by each other
In the 14th episode of KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Matchmakers', which aired on the 18th, Sim Jeong-woo (played by Rowoon) broke up with Jeong Soon-deok (played by Jo Yi-hyeon), but he did not mean it.
On this day, Shim Jeong-woo learned that Jeong Soon-deok was the daughter-in-law of the Left Councilor (played by Lee Hae-young), and had no choice but to join hands with Mrs. Park (played by Park Ji-young), the wife of Jeong Gyeong-gi, for her sake. In the end, with the death of the Left Councilor and Park Bok-gi (played by Lee Sun-won), Jeong Sun-deok and Mrs. Park escaped the crisis of extinction.
When Mrs. Park finds out that Soon-deok Jeong is living as a matchmaker's wife, she tries to cover up this fact as much as she cared for him. Mrs. Park asked Jeong Soon-deok to be a matchmaker for her daughter Jo Ye-jin's wedding. Jeong Soon-deok disguised himself as Yeoju's wife and married her. At this time, Shim Jeong-woo, who had crossed the byeolchaedam, notified Jeong Soon-deok of their breakup, saying, “I no longer love you.”
Jeong Sun-deok, who visited Mrs. Cho (played by Choi Hee-jin) to discuss the marriage of Maeng Du-ri (played by Park Ji-won) and Maeng Sam-soon (played by Jeong Bo-min), informed her that she was in fact Yeo Joo's wife. In response, Maeng Du-ri told the story of how her mother, Mrs. Jo, became blind. At that time, the mother-in-law, who did not like Mrs. Cho, who was working as a matchmaker, took a drug that made her blind. As a result, the three sisters became reluctant to get married, and Jeong Soon-deok felt a strange emotion while listening to this story.
However, the king annulled the marriage and recommended that she go to work. It was the day of Jo Ye-jin's wedding, and at the end of the drama, the identity of the two people getting married was revealed to be Jeong Soon-deok and Shim Jeong-woo, raising curiosity. Soon-deok Jeong and Jeong-woo Shim looked at each other's faces and were surprised.
