Lee Jeong-eun "I was hit and run recently, I watched CCTV for 6 hours and caught the culprit"

On the morning of the 11th, an interview with Lee Jeong-eun from TVING's original 'Unlucky Misdiagnosis Day' was conducted at a cafe located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. 'The Day of Misdiagnosis' is the story of an ordinary taxi driver, Oh Taek (played by Lee Seong-min), who picks up a customer (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) who offers a high price to Mukpo, but begins a journey of fear when he realizes that he is a serial killer. Lee Jeong-eun played the role of Hwang Soon-gyu (played by Lee Jeong-eun), who did not appear in the original work. Hwang Soon-gyu is a character who pursues Geum Hyuk-soo (Lee Byung-min/Yoo Yeon-seok) after his son's sudden death.
On this day, Lee Jeong-eun said that she had been in a hit-and-run accident not long ago, and said, "There was a collision in the parking lot, and I caught the culprit myself. I was curious about what kind of person he was." He added, "I need physical evidence to find out by calling the police station, and if I don't do it right away, they will take the evidence." “There is a high possibility of missing it. So, like Soon-gyu, I tracked it down and caught it.”
He said, "I thought I was soft, but I had a persistent side. Of course, the social system is important, but it happened because I was anxious. In the end, the person (the hit-and-run offender) was a bit older, and his circumstances were poor, so he only received the settlement money. “It’s over,” he added.
Lee Jeong-eun said, "Nevertheless, since I am a public figure, I thought it would be good to be able to end it through the legal system. How chaotic would society be if all the people in dramas took personal revenge? I am also worried about that. When I look at human life, I wonder how chaotic society would be." “If I were to do it, I would probably be angry at the public authorities for not being able to keep up with my speed,” he emphasized.
When asked, "How did you catch the hit-and-run criminal?", he responded, "I revealed my identity to the manager of the management office, and he searched for me very diligently. Even though CCTV is not easy to show, he helped me find the criminal after watching CCTV for 6 hours." It was about the end of filming ‘The Day of Misdiagnosis’, and I thought, ‘Didn’t I learn this part while filming?’ “I thought I learned it indirectly,” he joked.
Part 2 of ‘Unlucky Misdiagnosis Day’ was released through TVING on the 8th.
