Drama ‘Maestra’ actor Lee Moo-saeng and Lee Young-ae met for the first time, heightening tension.
'Maestra' is a mystery drama in which Cha Se-eum, a female conductor of only 5% of the world's maestra, a genius or a legend, searches for the truth about the events surrounding the orchestra while hiding her secret.
In 'Maestra', which first aired on the 9th, Lee Moo-saeng played the role of Yoo Jeong-jae, the chairman of UC Financial, who is called an investment magnate. As a strong-willed character who hides a sharp side behind a gentle smile, he appeared as a man gently admonishing a horse after watching a horse race.
Lee Moo-saeng's captivating acting skills added to the sense of immersion as the chairman of UC Financial who focuses on his main job. Lee Moo-saeng's unique character color was vividly displayed in the scene where he showed his bulldozer-like determination to suddenly change and go all-in on investment when his keen instinct as an investor was triggered even though he was engrossed in the game.
Above all, the sparkling first meeting with Lee Young-ae raises expectations. The scene where they noisily meet for the first time in the ensemble room with Cha Se-eum (played by Lee Young-ae), who returned to Korea as music director and permanent conductor of the Hangang Philharmonic after becoming world-famous, created a sense of tense tension.
Lee Moo-saeng has shown his soft charm through dramas such as '60 Days, Designated Survivor', 'The World of the Married', 'Sea of Silence', and '39'. He also made a special appearance in Netflix's 'The Glory' as Kang Yeong-cheon, the psychopathic killer who killed Joo Yeo-jeong's (Lee Do-hyun) father.
