Kian84 sets out to secure the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards through Season 3 of ‘Around the World’.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, a production presentation for MBC's new entertainment show 'Around the World Season 3' (hereinafter referred to as 'Around the World 3') was held at MBC Golden Mouse Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul. PD Kian84, Dex, and Kim Ji-woo attended the event. Jang Do-yeon served as the host.

'Around the World 3' is a program that depicts the unplanned local travel of Gian84, Panibottle, Dex, and Lee Si-eon, who set off to Madagascar, Africa, the fourth largest island in the world, in search of pristine seas after South America and India.

Kian 84, who is emerging as a strong candidate for the 2023 Entertainment Awards, said, "It seems ridiculous. I was very lucky. I had PD Kim Ji-woo and the production team who laid the foundation for me to do what I wanted to do, and I think it ended up like this because people liked it. "Honestly, I'm a little scared. I wonder if I can accept something like this. I'm not a great person," he added.

Regarding this, PD Kim Ji-woo said, "There are still points of caution. Although I am very grateful and it is a good thing," he added, "I think it will be too auspicious if I win the grand prize."

When asked whether he would sit at the 'I Live Alone' table or the 'Around the World' table at the Entertainment Awards ceremony, Kian 84 said, "In the past, when Jeon Hyun-moo received the grand prize, we made fun of him a lot. Go to 'Full Vigilance', 'I Mountain Alone'. “Go somewhere, where are you going for the dinner party, etc.” He said, “I think I will sit wherever the Entertainment Awards production team tells me to sit.”

Producer Kim Ji-woo explained, “Season 3 tells the story of going to Madagascar, a traveler’s dream, and living there together.”

When asked if there was any pressure about season 3 as last season was a hit, he said, "Rather than feeling pressure, I wanted to introduce Africa in a different way. Rather than images of civil war and starvation, I wanted to show local images and the MZ there." He said, "India is a religious religion. “If there were a lot of psychological encounters, Africa was a time when I experienced a lot of physical encounters and excitement,” he said.

Regarding the reason why Lee Si-eon joined, "I joined because I heard that the time was right. I was a little worried about the timing. After the middle of the trip, he appeared and helped me during a difficult time."

Kian84 said, "This was my third trip. The Indian episode had such good viewership ratings that PD Kim Ji-woo felt pressured. I also felt a little pressured, but I enjoyed it more. What I'm worried about is that the first episode was a little ordinary. I can't lie. But from episode 2 onwards, it became ridiculous. Thank you to everyone for allowing us to do fun entertainment.”

Regarding Madagascar, which he actually visited, he said, "It was much different than I thought. It was difficult to pick one thing to describe."

When asked if there was any discord this season with Lee Si-eon, with whom he often argued in Season 1, Kian84 said, "We've been sparring together recently. As we relieve stress through that, we can legally hit each other in the face. That's why I'm no longer angry. Sports." “I think it’s really good,” he said, adding, “I was worried because Dex was shy, but he followed Si-eon more than me. Si-eon’s brother has become very upset.”

When asked about the expected viewership ratings, Kian84 said, "Season 1 got about 4% and Season 2 about 6%, so I think it would be good if this season gets 8%. My personal wish is for it to come out to about 8%,” he said.
