'All The Butlers 2' without Lee Seung-gi starts at 1%

Season 1 started at 10%, but Season 2 started at 1%. This is the story of SBS’ ‘All The Butlers’. With Lee Seung-gi gone, the group has reorganized with new members including Lee Dae-ho and BamBam, but there is still a long way to go.

On the 1st, Season 2 of SBS' 'All The Butlers' premiered. 'All The Butlers', which returned with a new season in the new year of 2023 after a 3-month break, was conducted with a new concept called 'Park Bing Trend', which predicts what trends will heat up Korea. MC Lee Seung-gi, who was the main character in Season 1, was missing, and the show consisted of six members, including existing members Yang Se-hyung, Kim Dong-hyun, Eun Ji-won, and Doyoung, as well as new members Lee Dae-ho and BamBam. The theme of the day was golf and tennis, sports that are becoming popular.

Before the official start of Season 2, the members first had time to 'fight'. When there was no one to shout slogans, Yang Se-hyung was embarrassed and asked, “Who will say hello?” When Doyoung said, “You have to do it,” Yang Se-hyung expressed his disapproval and pretended to cry, saying, “Seung-gi!” At the same time, Yang Se-hyung cried, saying, "No one can proceed. I can't do it." Eun Ji-won said to the members, "Even if we don't win, we have to do well now. So that we can come back well."

Former baseball player Lee Dae-ho and GOT7's BamBam, who newly joined 'The Butler 2', expressed their aspirations. When asked how he felt about joining, Dae-ho Lee said, "I'm nervous. I wonder if I can do well," and assured, "I think I'll do well and I'm confident." Additionally, Lee Dae-ho attracted everyone's attention with his outspoken statement, "Compared to baseball, broadcasting is gum."

BamBam showed a relaxed side to the existing members, saying, "I'm afraid I'll be a bit nervous if I'm too nervous, so I'll take it easy." He then said, “But you don’t know me,” which caught everyone off guard. The video revealed that BamBam is gaining popularity with fans in Thailand. BamBam introduced the members one by one in Thai, with the ambition to work hard to drive the popularity of ‘All The Butlers’ globally.

The aspirations of new members Lee Dae-ho and BamBam are exciting, but the results received on the first day will not be pleasant. According to Nielsen Korea, the viewership rating for the first episode of ‘All The Butlers 2’ was 1.9%. The season has maintained a viewership rating of 3-5%. This was also a figure that was mentioned as low viewership ratings. The first episode of Season 1, which aired on December 31, 2017, had a rating of 10.5%.

Lee Seung-gi's absence also caused anxiety among the existing members. The members were a bit confused and seemed unable to keep their balance.

However, the appearance of new members Lee Dae-ho and BamBam not holding back raised expectations for a positive outlook. Lee Dae-ho showed off his refreshing charm throughout the broadcast, including lying bare-skinned in the snow and completing the entertainment physical fitness test. He also showed his friendly side by surprising the members with constant food talk. BamBam was not embarrassed by the sudden request for a three-line poem and did it with sense, garnering all the cuteness from his brothers. He joked to Kim Dong-hyun, who was sorting out his titles, saying, "Are you comfortable with me too?", showing off his pure and honest eloquence and the charm of the youngest member who doesn't give up. Attention is being paid to whether ‘All The Butlers 2’ will be able to receive viewers’ love longer than Season 1.
