On the 21st, an online production presentation for SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Law' was held. Director Lee Won-tae and actors Lee Sun-kyun, Moon Chae-won, Kang Yu-seok, and Park Hoon attended.
'Law' is a thrilling revenge drama between 'money salesman' Eun-yong and 'legal technician' Jun-kyung who fight against the cartel of 'Law' and 'Jjen'. Writer Kim Won-seok of the dramas 'The Queen's Classroom' and 'Descendants of the Sun' wrote the book, and director Lee Won-tae of the movies 'The Villain' and 'Captain Kim Chang-soo' directed it.
Director Lee introduced 'Beopjeon', saying, "It is an exhilarating revenge story that fights against the evil of the world. Although it looks heavy, it is an action drama with action and other attractions."

‘Bobjeon’ is also the first drama of director Lee, who has only made movies. Director Lee confessed, "The budget was smaller than that of a movie and the amount was large. I couldn't help it. I felt such pressure and stress when I wasn't filming, but when I came to the filming site, I actually felt at ease." He then said, "Seonkyun was like a younger brother. We talked about each other's lives and cursed at my wife," making Lee Seonkyun burst into laughter. Director Lee said, "Without realizing it, people said 'it's good' (after seeing the actors' acting). There were more of them than other works. It's a shame to say this, but the actors were lovely." He also praised, "Our drama may have a heavy topic, but Lee Sun-gyun did a good job of controlling the pace and pace by lifting and releasing, pulling and pushing."

Lee Sun-kyun is starring in an SBS drama 15 years after 'My Sweet City'. He said, “It’s not that I didn’t do SBS dramas on purpose. I think they didn’t sing well,” and “I’m grateful and glad to see you,” making everyone laugh. He then wittily said, "Friday-Saturday dramas, the programming time is good. I hope it can become a drama that can maintain its reputation, and we also want to be rewarded for the benefit of the programming."
Eunyong is a person who is purchasing the right to use real estate in the Great Plains of Central Asia, and is the actual owner and investment manager of the private equity fund 'Change'. Lee Seon-gyun said, "All you need is a private plane. I told the director that I would be immersed in it only if I got a little more involved and felt a sense of humanity." He then confessed, “Because I do a lot of business, I thought that my character would build up by giving emphasis to what I said.”
As a mystery incident unfolds, the characters in the play show off their exciting actions. Lee Sun-kyun made everyone laugh by saying, "I was worried about the action. I'm at an age where I worry more about the next day than about the action." He continued, "The action team designed it well, so I had confidence in it after the first filming. I am satisfied with the action scenes. Except for the first time, I recovered quickly."

Moon Chae-won said, "It wasn't easy to come up with a person to use as a motif. I started with myself. I watched dramas and movies similar to 'The Beopjon' over and over again. I watched the works that the actors here appeared in and the works that the director did. “I received help in that regard,” he said.
In the play, Park Jun-kyung's mother gets caught up in Hwang Ki-seok's (Park Hoon) conspiracy and makes an extreme choice. After his mother's death, Park Jun-kyung joins the military, becomes a judicial officer, and prepares for cold revenge. Moon Chae-won said, "Even if it actually happened, I thought I would risk everything to resolve my mother's injustice, so it wasn't difficult for me to immerse myself in it. In the process of creating the role, I couldn't think of a starting point, so I started from myself. It seemed like a natural start for me." reported.
Moon Chae-won said, "I wore less makeup. I let go of the desire to look pretty." He went on to say, “It would be satisfying if people could feel the familiar appearance that I felt from myself, but also hear that actress Moon Chae-won is growing well, and that the feeling of getting older is not bad and that it is mature yet new.”

Director Lee revealed the casting behind the scenes, saying, “Jang Tae-chun plays the role of a young prosecutor. I wanted to find a new face.” Director Lee said, "I auditioned for many actors. When Yoo Seok came into the office, he looked like Jang Tae-chun. His face was handsome and playful, and when I heard him speak, he had a confident feel. I felt like I had to do it at first impression."
Kang Yoo-seok said, "When I went to film for the second or third time, the director spoke to me after the outdoor filming. About the director's worries and depth in his late 20s. I felt that Tae-chun was a deeper character than I thought. At that time, a big line came to me. “It felt like it had been drawn,” he said.

Hwang Ki-seok is a villain with ambitions to reach the ultimate point of power. Park Hoon expressed the character's position, saying, "I have no choice but to live like that with justification. I thought it was right to draw him like a realist. Viewers might see him as a villain." He then said, "First of all, it was very difficult because it was 1 to 3. Even with Kang Yoo-seok, I was pushed behind a lot, but aren't Moon Chae-won and Lee Sun-kyun together?" and made people laugh. However, "Of course, it's fun to act with them. Seon-kyun creates scenes just by my reactions. This was Chae-won's first time working with him, and we got along well from the beginning, so he said, 'It feels like we've been together for three years.' From Yoo-seok's perspective, I “I can’t imagine how scary it must be when you see it. I don’t look gentle. So you let me go, saying, ‘Do whatever you want.’ But there are people who say I’m still shaking. The acting together with the three of you was fun,” he said. “Please focus on that part.” and requested.
Park Hoon is working again with the writer of his drama debut, 'Descendants of the Sun'. He hoped, "Even back then, I didn't know it would be a big hit. I have good memories of it, so I hope it will be the same this time as well." He also expected, "Money has both positive and negative meanings. Money is just for some people and unjust for others. Many people will sympathize with this meaning."

When asked about the points to watch, director Lee asked, “Please enjoy watching while thinking about the meaning that is essential to the human world.” Moon Chae-won was confident, “Wonhae will be able to get fun and catharsis in the drama.” Kang Yoo-seok also said, “It will be a delicious ending. Please watch until the end.” Park Hoon said, “Many of our seniors gave excellent performances. It will be fun to watch their performances,” and added, “I hope you enjoy this exciting revenge drama as your first work of the new year.”
'Law' will be aired for the first time on the 6th at 10 PM.
