Lee Sun-gyun is convinced that Kim Mi-sook's extreme choice is "impossible"

The second episode of SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Law', which aired on the 7th, recorded an 8.3% viewership rating in the metropolitan area and a 7.4% nationwide viewership rating based on Nielsen Korea. The highest viewership rating rose to 10.9%, showing signs of exceeding double-digit viewership ratings for the second consecutive episode. The 2049 viewership rating, which is an indicator of topicality, also recorded 2.7%.
Eun-yong (played by Lee Seon-gyun) learned that the informant of the Solarbio stock price manipulation scandal behind Chairman Myung (played by Kim Hong-pa) was none other than Park Jun-kyung (played by Moon Chae-won), and that Park Joon-kyung (played by Moon Chae-won) had repeatedly asked him for help. In particular, Eun-yong was in charge of the investigation into the case in which Yoon Hye-rin (played by Kim Mi-sook), Park Jun-kyung's mother and CEO of the venture company Bluenet, was arrested on suspicion of giving bribes, and Chairman Myeong's son-in-law Hwang Ki-seok (played by Park Hoon) was in charge of the investigation. I fell into grief when I found out that I had made an extreme choice and the case had been closed. Eunyong's fierce eyes flashed, convinced that Yoon Hye-rin, his only protector and strong supporter, could not possibly make such a choice.
Meanwhile, the Solar Bio situation grew rapidly, and the names of Chairman Myeong and former prosecutor Oh Chang-hyeon (played by Ki-young Lee) were mentioned. Hwang Ki-seok, who felt threatened by this, tried to divert the attention of the media by touching on the corruption case in the hiring of the son of Rep. Baek In-soo (played by Kwon Tae-won), which was being investigated by Jang Tae-chun (played by Kang Yoo-seok). At the same time, Hwang Ki-seok was angry when he found out that Park Jun-kyung, a junior prosecutor and former army staff member, was the one who stole internal documents and reported it, and attempted to indict Park Jun-kyung on charges of theft and leaking confidential information. However, Park Jun-kyung barely escaped the prosecution's investigation by using his military status and transferring investigative authority to military agencies.
Afterwards, Hwang Ki-seok sensed Jang Tae-chun's intention to enter the special department and encouraged Baek to investigate, urging him to take his line. At that time, Eun-yong learned that Chairman Myung had begun the process of delisting GMI Bank, through which funds for solar bio stock price manipulation were flowing, in order to destroy evidence, and together with his partner Hong Han-na (played by Kim Hye-hwa), he took a secret action.
The real reason why Eun-yong had to leave for Mongolia with Chairman Myeong, with whom he was once on the same side, was revealed and attracted attention. Eun-yong prepared for independence under Chairman Myung, and selected Hye-rin Yoon's Bluenet, which was about to develop new chipset technology, as its first company to do business with. However, Chairman Myeong did not allow Eunyong, the ‘goose that lays golden eggs’, to become independent, and after launching a merciless attack, he stole the Bluenet stocks that Eunyong had entrusted as collateral for a loan. Eun-yong visited CEO Yoon and predicted revenge by counter-planning, saying that Chairman Myung would put Bluenet out of business by short selling. When CEO Yoon tried to dissuade him, he did not break his will, saying, “There is no way to win cleanly in a dirty fight.”
Afterwards, Eun-yong recruited shareholders who had been harmed by Chairman Myung as players and launched an offensive operation that lasted two weeks. Eunyong miraculously raised Bluenet's stock price by demonstrating his commanding skills of repeatedly buying and selling at perfect timing. Bluenet also succeeded in developing chipset technology and achieved the feat of completing U.S. patent registration, hitting the upper limit. When the stock price rises, short selling losses are unlimited, so Chairman Myeong's losses skyrocketed.
Chairman Myeong, who was enraged, tried to mess with Eun-yong's family to get revenge on Eun-yong, but Eun-yong, who had foreseen several moves ahead, succeeded in suffocating Chairman Myeong to the end with a truly perfect finale in which he even reported Chairman Myeong's borrowed-name account. And with a final warning, “Don’t mess with my family,” Eunyong disappeared for Mongolia, saying he would leave Korea. Ten years later, Eun-yong appears in front of Park Jun-kyung, prepared for a 'second scuffle' with Chairman Myeong, who ignored his warning, and delivers the ending of an umbrella blocking the inclement rain, raising expectations of the fierce 'high-density revenge' that will unfold in earnest. The tension increased.
