Ok Taecyeon and Won Ji-an, 'Heart Beats' lead roles in 'Symbiosis Romance'

Actors Ok Taecyeon and Won Ji-an have confirmed their appearances in KBS2's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Heart Beats'.

'Heart Beating' is about Seon Woo-hyeol (played by Ok Taecyeon), a half-vampire who did not become human by one day in 100 years, and Joo Joo-hae (played by Won Ji-an), a woman with no human touch, who happen to start living together and share true warmth. It is a dizzying, life-threatening symbiosis romance.

Ok Taecyeon and Won Ji-an each give passionate performances as Joo Joo-hae, a human who finally becomes a humane person after meeting Seonwoo-hyeol and Seonwoo-hyeol, half-human vampires who did not become human just one day apart.

Taecyeon Ok takes on the role of Seon Woo-hyeol, a ‘half-human vampire’ in the drama. Seonwoohyeol is an early adopter who has to try new items that come to this country first to be satisfied, and is a trendsetter who leads the trend. He is an idiot who went into a cave to become a human and survived by eating only mugwort and garlic, but it is said that there is a special reason why he wants to become a human so desperately, which stimulates curiosity.

Ok Taecyeon, who has built up his filmography by showing solid acting skills regardless of genre and role in 'Blind', 'Earth and Joy', and 'Vincenzo', is raising expectations by announcing a new acting transformation as a vampire character in 'Heart Beats'.

Won Ji-an, who has established himself as an actor by showing off his strong presence in 'When You Make a Wish', 'Juvenile Delinquency', and 'DP', plays the role of Ju Hae-hae, a temporary health teacher and guesthouse owner in the play.

Joo Joo-hae is famous for the image of not a single drop of blood coming out even when stabbed due to living so stubbornly that he has no part-time job to do due to his poor circumstances, but he is a character who grows into a person with humanity while living with Seonwoo-hyeol. This raises curiosity about what kind of charm Won Ji-an will use to build the character of Joo Joon-hae, a 'cold-blooded human being'.

‘Heart Beats’ begins production with the goal of airing in the first half of this year.
