In the 9th episode of JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Love Understanding', which aired on the 18th, the story of Ha Sang-soo (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) and Ahn Soo-young (played by Moon Ga-young), who are still attracted to each other even after seasons have passed, was depicted.

Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young, who had briefly locked eyes at a colleague's wedding, soon turned to Park Mi-kyung (played by Geum Sae-rok) and Jeong Jong-hyeon (played by Jeong Ga-ram) who were standing next to them. Despite Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young's determination to do their best for their chosen heart, Park Mi-kyung (played by Geum Sae-rok) became overcome with anxiety when she accidentally discovered Ahn Soo-young's items and graffiti related to her at Ha Sang-soo's house. Jeong Jong-hyun's heart also became heavy as he faced situations where Ahn Soo-young kept giving up on things because of him.

Ha Sang-soo became lost in thought after hearing that Park Mi-kyung and So Kyung-pil (played by Moon Tae-yu) were lovers in the past. Park Mi-kyung, unaware of this fact, continued to actively express her feelings by arranging meetings with friends in order to catch Ha Sang-soo. Ha Sang-soo, whose mind was complicated by her unwanted gift, refused it and put the brakes on Park Mi-kyung's straight path for the first time.

At the same time, Ahn Soo-young was also frustrated with her relationship with Jeong Jong-hyun. Ahn Soo-young became cold when Jeong Jong-hyeon, who had not come home for several days without contacting her, lied to her. Ahn Soo-young's heart sank even more heavily when the words he had given to comfort him for failing the test, saying that he would be fine, were returned with a self-deprecating answer.

Meanwhile, something happened that lit a small spark in the hearts of Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young. The reason the two went to Jeju Island together was to pay condolences to a bank customer. Those who had many conversations there learned things they didn't know about each other. In particular, sharing the pain of losing a precious family member served as an opportunity to get one step closer to each other's true feelings.

While returning by train, the two people stopped by the beach spontaneously and shook off all their thoughts and enjoyed the time together. Ha Sang-soo, who recalled memories of Jeju Island while looking at the sea, suppressed a bitter laugh when Ahn Soo-young asked him if he missed the sea with him. He then said, “I should have said it clearly then,” and regretted the moment when he could not provide certainty.

Ahn Soo-young, who avoided Ha Sang-soo's feelings first, said, "I think it's too late." However, Ha Sang-soo asked Ahn Soo-young, “Are you happy?” Ahn Soo-young finally revealed the feelings she had tried so hard to block under Ha Sang-soo's deep gaze.
