Jung Jun-ho and Lee Ha-jeong "I'm always sorry to my daughter Yudam"
As a couple with one heart, the two said in unison, "I want Yudam to learn how to play fun and happy," while also expressing their sorrowful feelings for their daughter, saying, "It was unfortunate that there were many restrictions on outside activities due to COVID-19." He also described his daughter, Yudam, as “a bright and lovely child who takes after her father and has excellent social skills and friendliness, and quickly becomes friends even with strangers,” predicting Yudam’s performance in ENA’s ‘Oh Eunyoung Game’, which will be aired for the first time on the 24th. In particular, the trailer reveals a glimpse of Yudam's transformation as he becomes closer to his father Jung Jun-ho through 'play', raising expectations even more.Below is a Q&A with Jung Jun-ho and Lee Ha-jeong.Q1. What was the biggest reason why you decided to appear on ‘Oh Eun-young’s Game’?
Junho Jeong: I was curious about how to play with Yudam so that he would have fun and be happy, and I wanted to learn.
Lee Ha-jeong: I had a strong desire for the father and child to become closer. It was an ‘honor to the family’ to think that I was receiving advice on playing from Dr. Eunyoung Oh.
Q2. As parents, what are the characteristics of our child?
Junho Jeong: Yudam is bright and has developed social skills. His ability to quickly become friends with strangers is very similar to that of his father. They say that perhaps because she has an older brother, she develops faster than her peers. He is a child who is very considerate of others and has clear likes and dislikes.
Lee Ha-jeong: Yudam is a bright and lovely child. Like his father, he has excellent social skills, so although he may be shy at first, he quickly becomes friendly and has the style to lead the mood.
Q3. How did you usually play?
Junho Jeong: I have a lot of work to do so I can't spend a lot of time with Yudam, but I often do things that Yudam likes, such as puzzles, Lego, coloring, and playing with dolls.
Lee Ha-jeong: I like block play, sticker play, coloring, doll play, and role play, so I mainly played with those types of activities.
Q4. What was the most difficult part about playing with your child?
Junho Jeong: I didn’t know how to play with my child when he wanted a new play.
Lee Ha-jeong: I have a son who is 5 years older than Yu-dam, so I always felt sorry for Yu-dam, who was full of energy while worrying about the older child. I wanted to divide my time so I could give both my children lots of love, but it wasn't easy. I want to play something new together, but I wonder, 'What can we do at home?' It wasn't easy to think.
Q5. In the era of COVID-19, there are many restrictions on playing with children. Were there any difficulties in that regard?
Junho Jeong: Since there were many restrictions on going out, there were limits to being able to go to many places and give people experiences. It was difficult because my child got frustrated if I only played at home.
Lee Ha-jeong: Yudam was always sad that he couldn't do outside activities as much as he wanted due to COVID-19. I wanted to meet peers and travel around for my child's development, but there were many restrictions. Still, it was fortunate that Yudam had a lot of time to play with her older brother and cousins who lived nearby.
Q6. What do you gain from ‘Oh Eunyoung Game’ and what kind of parent do you want to be?
Junho Jeong: I hope Yudam feels a lot of happiness when she plays with her dad. I hope that all development takes place well through play. As a parent, I want to understand Yudam well and play happy games with him.
Lee Ha-jeong: Rather than spending time with my child as parents want, I want to be a parent who supports Yudam so that he can grow up well in many ways. More than anything, I want to be able to read Yudam's mind, understand Yudam's temperament, and help her grow healthily both physically and mentally. Through 'Oh Eun-young Game', we will work hard to learn how to play fun for both children and adults so that Yudam can grow well in many ways.
