Was ‘The Glory’ Jeong Sung-il the husband of Shin Min-ah?
In 'The Glory', Jeong Seong-il played the role of Ha Do-yeong, who was born with a silver spoon and lived in an advantageous position throughout his life, and gave off a unique presence with his acting skills that exploded his previous experience, creating a character of his life. In 'Bad and Crazy', he goes from being a psychological counselor and director of the Dream Youth Center with a warm smile to the final villain 'Shin Joo-hyuk', a hidden powerhouse of an emerging drug organization with a creepy look in his eyes, perfectly expressing the psychopathic side of the character. It overwhelmed the viewers by creating a sense of fear greater than any other stimulus.
On the other hand, in 'Our Blues', he played the role of Tae-hoon, the husband of Min Seon-ah (played by Shin Min-ah), and performed a performance that mobilized all five senses, including facial expressions, eyes, and breathing, from sensitive and sharp emotions to bursting out suppressed anger. He also showed off his presence as a strong scene stealer, proving the face of Cheon with his limitless ability to portray characters.
These works have another thing in common. It is a work by directors and writers whose names are familiar to the public who like drama through famous works such as Noh Hee-kyung, Yoo Seon-dong, and Lee Soo-yeon. This may be a reasonable choice for those who recognize his acting skills that he has accumulated over a long period of time. Director Ahn Gil-ho and writer Kim Eun-sook also praised Jeong Seong-il's true value, shining through Ha Do-young of 'The Glory', who created Gentle Sexy.
'The Glory', which was released on December 30th last year and is becoming a hot topic every day, has confirmed the release of Part 2 on March 10th. Seong-il Jeong's performance is attracting attention as he is predicted to be the character between Dong-eun (played by Song Hye-kyo) and Yeon-jin (played by Lim Ji-yeon), the center of revenge, and the person whose life declines the most.
