Actress Chae Jeong-an revealed her aspirations as an entertainment MC.

On the 16th, a press conference for ENA's new entertainment show 'Myeongdong Sarangbang' was held at Urban Plant Myeongdong, located in Jung-gu, Seoul. Attending the meeting were PD Yeo Woon-hyuk, ENA PD Tae-joo Moon, and 4 MCs Seo Jang-hoon, Chae Jeong-an, Park Ha-sun, and Yang Se-chan.

‘Myeongdong Sarangbang’ is a program depicting a group meeting that takes place over two days and one night between friendship and love. The cast, who are friends in real life, will appear as a team and depict romance and subtle fights.

Seo Jang-hoon, Chae Jeong-an, Park Ha-sun, and Yang Se-chan, who serve as MCs, transform into couple managers and directly dive into relationship coaching, understanding the college student cast members' views on relationships, ideal types, and personalities, and passing on vivid dating tips.

Regarding the reason why she decided to appear in 'Myeongdong Sarangbang', Chae Jeong-an said, "I felt like I could show a lot of fresh and new things because I was doing it at ENA. I have a lot of interest and greed in entertainment, but appearing as a manager who matches couples was something new to me. Chae Jeong-an "I wanted to feel the atmosphere of young people on site, regardless of the entertainment challenge. I also liked the MCs," he said.

Last year, Chae Jeong-an participated in MBC's 'What Do You Do When You Play?' as a WSG Wannabe applicant, and quickly emerged as an entertainment character with her honest and easy-going charm. Even though I received many love calls for entertainment, why did I choose ‘Myeongdong Sarangbang’ as my first entertainment show?

In response, Chae Jeong-an said, "I have appeared as a guest and ranked first in real-time tests several times, so I wanted to do a variety show that could last for a long time. The type of entertainment I want to do is a talk show like 'You Quiz' where I listen to people's stories as an MC. But," he said. "I thought I needed to meet many people before that. I thought I needed time to listen to and observe other people's stories. I was curious about what I could do. I thought 'Myeongdong Sarangbang' was a process for me to grow as an MC," he said.

He continued, "When I look at Seo Jang-hoon, I respect him for being calm and relaxed. I haven't been calm in a while. I have to calmly put it down and watch the whole thing, but I get excited by the desire to make people laugh. So, there are times when I put myself down and watch while watching Seo Jang-hoon and Yang Se-chan. “I’m learning a lot,” he added.

‘Myeongdong Sarangbang’ will premiere at 8:30 pm on the 27th.
