In the 12th episode of JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Love Understanding', which aired on the 26th, Ahn Soo-young (played by Moon Ga-young), whose feelings for Ha Sang-soo (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) had grown to the point of irreversibility, personally destroyed the sand castle she had carefully built.
Ha Sang-soo, who was unable to end the relationship, headed to Ahn Soo-young's house with complicated emotions and ran into Ahn Soo-young, who had just come out to make a phone call. Ahn Soo-young walked next to Ha Sang-su, who was just walking without saying a word, and shared her feelings with him. The night for those who had lost their destination became deeper and deeper.
Meanwhile, as the company became noisy due to the news of Yang Seok-hyun's (played by Oh Dong-min) mistress, the hearts of Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young also began to feel dizzy. Due to the closed atmosphere of the bank, no matter how personal the scandal is, it will be fatal to the two people whose relationship has not yet been resolved. However, Ha Sang-soo, who had already decided to go straight to Ahn Soo-young, could not give up his feelings for Ahn Soo-young no matter what humiliation he suffered, and became more determined to end their relationship.
On the other hand, Ahn Soo-young was conflicted about whether her uncontrollable growing emotions might become an obstacle to Ha Sang-soo. Ahn Soo-young, unable to find a place to put her mind easily, leaves the bank and walks alone on the beach. She quietly mulls over the reality given to her, including Ha Sang-soo's tired face, her relationship with Jung Jong-hyun that she has to deal with, and Park Mi-kyung saying that she cannot give up on Ha Sang-soo. After watching, I decided to break the heart I had been trying so hard to cherish with my own hands.
Ahn Soo-young, who saw Ha Sang-su coming to the beach where she was, told a story about her childhood when she loved building sand castles and tried to tear down the beautifully built castle, saying, "It would be easier if I just destroyed it with my own hands." Ha Sang-soo, who saw this, blocked Ahn Soo-young's hand, saying, "It may not be true." Ha Sang-soo, who did not easily touch things that would break anyway, like an egg falling from a nest, changed his attitude toward life thanks to Ahn Soo-young.
Hearing this, Ahn Soo-young smiled and said, “You’ve changed, Master Ha-gye,” but then looked at the sand castle with a sad face. Ahn Soo-young, who was staring at the back of Ha Sang-su, who had left after receiving a request, left the beach first, leaving behind only a sand castle. Ha Sang-su, who was wandering around looking for Ahn Soo-young, even went to her house, but in the end, he was unable to meet Ahn Soo-young and had to turn his back.
The next day, Ha Sang-soo felt strange about Ahn Soo-young's cold attitude at work. Ahn Soo-young even just coldly accepted the words of Jeong Jong-hyeon (played by Jeong Ga-ram), who had lost his sense of reason. Jeong Jong-hyeon saw So Kyeong-pil (Moon Tae-yu) and shook his fist, and shouted at Ha Sang-soo, who tried to stop him, “Did you sleep with Ahn Soo-young too?” Seeing Jeong Jong-hyun's furious appearance, everyone's eyes turned to Ahn Soo-young, and Ahn Soo-young made eye contact with Ha Sang-soo with a straight face.
Episode 12 ended with the shaking eyes of Ha Sang-soo, who was in an unbelievable situation, and the detached expression of Ahn Soo-young, as if she had resigned herself to everything. What kind of storm is brewing in Ahn Soo-young's heart at the moment when everything she had placed her heart into is shattered?
