'Golden Soul' Jeong Bo-min "I want to transform into a character with 'short-cut hair'"

On the 31st, an interview with Jeong Bo-min (playing the role of Hae-young) of MBC's 'Golden Marriage, Joseon Marriage Ban' (directed by Park Sang-woo and Jeong Hoon, written by Cheon Ji-hye, produced by Main Factory, hereinafter referred to as 'Golden Marriage') was held at the Ten Asia headquarters.
'Golden Marriage' is a delightful and exhilarating palace scam in which Sorang (Park Joo-hyun), a marriage con artist who claims to be able to possess the dead Crown Princess, appears before King Lee Heon (Kim Young-dae), who was in despair after losing the Crown Princess seven years ago and issued an order banning the marriage. It is based on a web novel of the same name and is also well known as a webtoon.

Jeong Bo-min takes on his first historical drama. They said they paid the most attention to the external aspects to fit the lovable character. He said, "Isn't Haeyoung a character who is loved by two men? The director wanted her to feel like a popular idol. Before filming, she dieted hard and was especially worried about her hair. We had several meetings with the hair team and ended up with bangs, even though it was a historical drama. “He revealed a cute image while looking down.”

In the play, he was loved by two men at the same time and showed extraordinary chemistry. Jeong Bo-min expressed his gratitude, saying, "I felt comfortable on set because I met and practiced with my oppas before filming. My oppas took good care of me and even sent me long KakaoTalk messages when I had trouble adjusting."

He said, "I read the script with a pen in my mouth until it catches my eye. I read it even with the pen out and take a video to check it. I keep trying until I like it. I'm a perfectionist. If I stay at home, I get lazy and always go to work. “I had to go out and practice to get better,” he added.

He added, "I was surprised to see actor Hong Soo-hyun's acting. There was a scene in the play where he expressed his sadness towards his mother-in-law, and all of his sadness came out on the surface on the screen. I want to challenge myself to act that kind of emotion."
