Park Soo-hong, invited to England by 'best friend' Gordon Ramsay
In KBS 2TV's 'New Release's 'Pyeon Restaurant' (hereinafter referred to as 'Pyeon Restaurant'), which aired on February 3, Park Soo-hong met with world-famous star chef Gordon Ramsey. Gordon Ramsay is a self-proclaimed world-class chef who has held three Michelin stars for the longest time. Although their first meeting took place amidst tension, Park Soo-hong and Gordon Ramsey exuded pleasant chemistry. Above all, the two people enjoyed each other's food and even promised to meet again, creating a warm feeling.
On this day, Park Soo-hong took a step forward with a trembling heart. The person waiting for him was world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay. Gordon Ramsey has a strong passion for cooking and has the image of a sharp-tongued speaker. However, Gordon Ramsey, whom he met in real life, was humorous enough to melt away Park Soo-hong's nervousness with his British jokes. He immediately recreated his signature ‘idiot sandwich’ scene with Park Soo-hong, drawing a lot of laughter.
Gordon Ramsay then presented two types of pizza for Park Soo-hong. A pineapple pizza made by Gordon Ramsey, who is famous for being against pineapple pizza, out of love for his daughter, and a pizza curry pizza filled with fresh vegetables in spicy tandoori sauce. Gordon Ramsey also taught Park Soo-hong how to enjoy pizza. Park Soo-hong expressed his admiration for Gordon Ramsay's pizza, which is exotic yet perfectly suited to the tastes of Koreans.
Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay also tasted Park Soo-hong’s menu. It was Spicy Seolleongtang Ramen that was released after winning the ‘Pyeon Restaurant’ competition. Gordon Ramsey, who said he had never tried cup ramen before, started tasting it without hesitation. “I like spicy food,” he said, even adding spicy soup without hesitation. Everyone watched with anxiety to see if Gordon Ramsay's harsh words would pour out. However, Gordon Ramsay's response was 'favorable'.
Gordon Ramsay said, “I think it would be good to eat it in winter. “I grew up eating similar things,” he praised. In addition, it also recommended ways to enjoy it more deliciously. Furthermore, he explained what efforts he must make as a chef to make more delicious food, and also showed his passionate passion for cooking. For this trip to Korea, Gordon Ramsey even spent his birthday on an airplane.
Park Soo-hong, who found out that it was Gordon Ramsey's birthday, immediately celebrated his birthday by singing a song. They also presented traditional Korean foods such as yanggaeng and seaweed.
