In the final episode of JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Understanding Love', which aired on the 9th, Ha Sang-soo (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) and Ahn Soo-young (played by Moon Ga-young) were shown finally understanding each other's love after a long wait.

About four years have passed since Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young said goodbye on this day's broadcast. A similar day passed without any variables, and Ahn Soo-young's existence was forgotten, but quickly became clear. The cafe called Tomorrow’s Happiness, which Ha Sang-soo found by chance, brought back precious memories he had with Ahn Soo-young.

Ahn Soo-young also kept her feelings for Ha Sang-soo even as she came to Seoul and started a new life. Ahn Soo-young, who was looking at the only photo of Ha Sang-soo that remained among many landscape photos and recalling her last memories with him, calmed down with longing and regret.

Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young, who had longed for each other, miraculously reunited as bank employees and customers. The owner of the 'Tomorrow's Happiness' cafe, the client of Ha Sang-soo's loan case, was none other than Ahn Soo-young. The relationship that they had hoped for for a long time but were trying to end in the end became clear again, and the emotions of the two people became entangled again. Even though we didn't completely understand each other's feelings, we had a vague guess, so we buried the past pain and created new memories.

As they walked side by side and reminisced about the first time they made a promise to the last night they spent together in Tongyeong, they regretted their dishonest choice and at the same time imagined a different future, what it would have been like if they had stayed by each other's side. It added to the affection. Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young, who were thrilled by the person standing in front of them and shared pages of their lives that they regretted due to foolish choices, climbed the hill together.

Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young, who had different perspectives on love, understood each other's feelings and learned about another kind of love through each other. Ha Sang-soo, who thought love was an unchanging constant, became stronger after being shaken countless times when he met a variable named Ahn Soo-young. Ahn Soo-young received a chance from Ha Sang-soo to rebuild the love that she destroyed with her own hands, as no matter how hard she built it, it would eventually fall apart. In the process of understanding the other person, who had no choice but to hesitate due to the conditions of reality, many scars were left behind, but these scars eventually became an opportunity for Ha Sang-soo and Ahn Soo-young to be attracted to each other.

Park Mi-kyung (played by Keum Sae-rok), who dreamed of a love that was natural to always be by her side even if it didn't burn like body temperature, and Jeong Jong-hyun (played by Jeong Ga-ram), who felt that even love was a debt due to difficult circumstances, ended their lingering feelings about their past relationship in their own way.
