Lee Ha-nui confirmed as main character in ‘Flowers that Bloom at Night’
Actress Lee Ha-nui is making a comeback to the small screen with MBC's new drama 'Flowers that Bloom at Night'.

MBC's new drama 'Flowers that Bloom at Night' is a 'double life of a masked widow' drama about 'Yeo-hwa', a 15-year-old widow who has been living in poverty for 15 years, and 'Su-ho', a coveted old man who lives inside the four main gates.

Honey Lee plays the role of Jo Yeo-hwa, a two-faced masked widow of fifteen years. Jo Yeo-hwa is a prim and virtuous woman during the day, the daughter-in-law of the highest noble family who lives quietly without seeing the world outside the wall, and at night, when the sun sets, she climbs over the wall and takes care of those in need without anyone knowing.

Jo Yeo-hwa, who has been leading a spectacular double life, accidentally becomes entangled with Park Soo-ho and dreams of a tomorrow she has never imagined.

Lee Ha-nui is actively working both on the home screen and on the big screen, including in the dramas 'Won the Woman', 'The Fierce Priest', and 'Rebel: The Thief Who Stole the People', as well as in the movies 'Ghost' and 'Extreme Job'. ‘Flowers that Bloom at Night’ is Lee Ha-nui’s first drama return after giving birth last year. Through this drama, Lee Ha-nui is expected to draw sympathy from viewers with her unique charm as well as her captivating and diverse acting skills.

‘Flowers that Bloom at Night’ is a new work by producer Jang Tae-yu, who directed the dramas ‘Hyena’, ‘My Love from the Star’, ‘Deep-Rooted Tree’, and ‘Hong Cheon-ki’.

‘Flowers that Bloom at Night’ is being prepared for production with the goal of broadcasting in the second half of this year.
