Brian, 'shocked' for being single for 13 years

Brian appeared on Channel A's entertainment show 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center', which aired on the 24th, and expressed his honest thoughts about marriage and dating.
Brian, a 25-year-old singer who debuted with Fly to the Sky. Known for his neatness, he has been a CrossFit enthusiast for eight years and runs a gym as well as taking florist classes.
On this day, in a test to determine your dating style based on the bouquet of flowers you like, the results showed that Brian is not the type to approach someone he likes first. Brian responded, “That’s accurate. People think that if I like someone, I will easily approach them and talk to them, but I also consulted with Hwanhee a lot about that issue. Because of that, my feelings cool down or I can't meet the person I want. Or, when the other person shows interest, the interest cools down a little.”
Manager Hong Seung-ran, who has been working with Brian for 7 years, appeared and confessed the inconveniences he experienced while working because of Brian's sensitivity to smells. Hong Seung-ran confessed, "They always tell me I smell, and they keep asking me if I farted. I'm sensitive to the smell of my feet. They ask me if I haven't even washed my hair. It's so uncomfortable." Brian said, "I can't stand the smell. I don't want to face people." “I remember the smell. It feels like the smell itself is attached to my face,” he explained.

Brian said, “I suddenly couldn’t say that I couldn’t date because of my bad breath, so naturally I started doing things I hated. So that you tell me to break up with you. His tone of voice also changed to colder. “I’d rather be remembered as a bad person,” he said. “That’s why I can’t get married.” “I can’t be with someone,” he said.
Oh Eun-young, who heard this, said, “It seems like bad smells have a negative emotional impact. Smell even affects emotions. “Seeing as how he can’t stand smells, it seems like he definitely has hyperosmia.” When told that he reacts unconsciously not because he dislikes people but because of their smell, Brian said, “At first, I like him, but when I smell something strange, my expression hardens. “I thought, ‘I never want to meet that person again.’”
Brian was taught cleanliness from a young age by his strict father. “Ever since I was young, my father has taught me that it is right to live cleanly. “Even when I grew up, I felt that there was a problem with people who were not clean,” he explained. “You had to wash your feet as soon as you came home from school. If your older brother’s feet smelled, you were both scolded because he was your younger brother.”
Eunyoung Oh advised that we should try not to judge people based on smell, and emphasized the need for successful experience in actively solving problems together.
