Will Bang Minah’s romance be ‘delivered’?

Is it an investigative drama or a romance?

On the afternoon of the 28th, a production presentation for Genie TV's original 'Delivery Man' was held at D Cube City, Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul, and director Kang Sol, as well as actors Yoon Chan-young, Bang Min-ah, and Kim Min-seok attended.

'Delivery Man' is a high-tension investigative drama about the other world unfolding between Seo Young-min (played by Yoon Chan-young), a taxi driver who makes a living, and Kang Ji-hyeon (played by Bang Min-ah), an amnesiac soul.

Director Kang Sol said, "Through the cooperation between people and souls, Young-min and Ji-hyeon carry out the task of making their wishes come true. When it comes to differentiation, romance is romance, but I think humanism will come to the fore. Viewers will also enjoy the stories and conversations of the last souls. “I think the point of differentiation is where we can share our emotions,” he said.

Director Kang also mentioned the reason why he prepared his next work, which is completely different from his previous work, 'Show Window: The Queen's House'. He explained, "The writing has to be interesting. When I read the script for 'Delivery Man', I was curious and kept turning the pages."

He continued, "I wanted to convey the curiosity I felt to viewers. Also, trying multiple genres within one drama is also a challenge for a director."

Chan-young Yoon said about the character, "Young-min must ride a taxi that his mother passed down to him and work hard to earn money to maintain some happiness at home." “There will be a lot of this coming out, so please look forward to it,” he introduced.

He then revealed the reason for his appearance. He said his reason for appearing was, “I really enjoyed reading the script.” He also said, "I think I went through it well, like reading a novel. I was reading scripts and preparing while I was in college, but this drama was my first challenge to act as an adult, so I think I developed a spirit of challenge in that aspect." He confessed. He confessed, "I think I went into it with a lot of responsibility and a sense of duty, saying, 'Let's try really hard.'"

Bang Min-ah plays the role of Kang Ji-hyeon, an amnesiac soul who gets stuck in Seo Young-min's taxi for unknown reasons. Bang Min-ah said about her role, "It's a ghost. It's a very strong and weak style. It's a ghost full of warmth and humanity. At times, it's also shameless and can be shameless. A lot of things happen while running a ghost taxi."

Chan-young Yoon said about his chemistry with Min-ah Bang, “There is nothing to say.” In response, Bang Min-ah said, "I actually felt a bit of pressure about romantic chemistry. We are 8 years older than each other, and I am the youngest of all my romantic partners. It was good to work with them and it wasn't as difficult as I thought. Filming was easy."

After ‘Doctors’, Kim Min-seok transformed into a doctor again. He said, “At that time, I thought that I did a lot of acting to show that I could survive in this world. At that point, I felt regretful at that time. In that work, I tried my best to show my liveliness and boyish side, but in this work, I acted while thinking about how I would change when I became a doctor in my mid-30s. No differentiation was made. “It is a work in which I acted naturally and as I went along, thinking about what it would be like if I were a doctor now,” he explained.

He continued, "When I went to the emergency room, I thought, 'I'm going to die from pain, so why are the doctors so indifferent?' I tried to mix reality and drama well. I don't know if I did a good job, but if I didn't do a good job, I will be punished by the viewers." It made me laugh.

Chanyoung Yoon said, “Please look at the communication and exchange between people and souls, and the romance that happens between them. “It is no exaggeration to say that the passenger ghosts are the main characters of the episode, so I hope you enjoy watching it,” he said.
