Lee Ji-ah VS Jang Hee-jin, Kim Soon-ok's revenge drama 'Pandora'

Director Choi Young-hoon, Lee Ji-ah, Lee Sang-yoon, Jang Hee-jin, Park Ki-woong, and Bong Tae-gyu attended the production presentation for tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Pandora: A Fabricated Paradise', which was broadcast live online on the afternoon of the 7th.
'Pandora' is a revenge story in which a woman living a life that everyone envies recovers her lost memories of the past and punishes those who manipulated her fate.

On this day, director Choi Young-hoon expressed confidence that it was a ‘Kim Soon-ok style drama.’ He said, “He is a very famous writer.” He added, “There are only a few writers who can create a genre with just one writer’s name. Now that a drama called ‘Kim Soon-ok Pyo’ has been created, the fast-paced, dramatic stories, and the desires and emotions that unfold within them can be properly expressed. “I was worried about whether I could do it, but I focused on ‘emotion’ unlike before to capture that part,” he explained. He also attracted attention by emphasizing, “Unlike before, no one dies in the first episode.”

Ji-ah Lee introduced, “This is a character who was raised as a murder weapon, lived as a killer, lost her memory, and now lives happily with a perfect family in the eyes of others.” When asked by MC Park Kyung-rim, "Which acting was easier between 'Perfect Wife' and 'Perfect Killer'?" she answered, "The role of 'Perfect Killer' was easier." He then joked, “I have to take revenge. I have to beat them all to death.”

Jang Hee-jin plays Go Hae-soo, YBC's best main anchor and the wife of Geumjo Group's second son, Jang Do-jin (played by Park Ki-woong). He said, "I had a lot of emotions. It was a bit difficult because I kept shedding tears." After hearing this, MC Park Kyung-rim asked, “Are you going to be crowned the ‘Queen of Tears’?” Jang Hee-jin replied, “I hope so.”

Park Ki-woong plays Jang Do-jin, the second son of Geumjo Group, CEO of Haechi Management and a gold digger to the core. Park Ki-woong said, “It’s true that he plays the role of a rich man, but he seems to have more business skills than his friends. “I feel like a ‘Jianju’,” he said, making everyone laugh, adding, “It’s difficult to take on a classy role when I’m not a classy person.”

Director Choi Young-hoon said, "It's a complex genre that goes beyond complex genres. Should I call it total entertainment? When you watch it, you'll wonder, 'What kind of drama is this?' “You can do it, but I did my best to make it,” he emphasized, drawing attention.
'Pandora' will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM, starting with its first broadcast on the 11th.
