Six men's fun trip 'School trip without math'

EXO's Dio, Zico, Crush, and Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon, who were not easily seen on entertainment shows, went on a trip with veteran entertainers Lee Yong-jin and Yang Se-chan. This is through SBS’ new entertainment show ‘School Trip Without Math.’ 'Entertainer Brothers' Lee Yong-jin and Yang Se-chan revealed that the four members of '92's had natural laughter that made them feel a sense of crisis as entertainers.

On the 9th, a production presentation for SBS's new entertainment show 'School Trip Without Math' (hereinafter referred to as 'School Trip') was held at a cafe in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul. Producer Choi Bo-pil and actors Lee Yong-jin and Yang Se-chan attended.

'Study Training' is a romantic, math-free and ignorant variety show about six men performing special missions and unique games on a field trip. EXO's D.O., Zico, Crush, Jannabi's Choi Jeong-hoon, Lee Yong-jin, and Yang Se-chan will participate.

Producer Choi Bo-pil expressed his thoughts ahead of the first broadcast, saying, “I had fun playing with my two older brothers and your younger siblings.” Lee Yong-jin made people laugh by saying, “He is the eldest brother of ‘Susukyoeng’. You won’t find leadership or charisma at all.” Yang Se-chan introduced, "I was in charge of the second child. Because I am the second child, I am good at coordinating from the middle. I worked as a coordinating man." Dio, Zico, Crush, and Jannabi were born in 1992 and were of the same age, so they were called '92s'.

PD Choi revealed the behind-the-scenes casting, saying, "I've been thinking about doing something with Yongjin for a long time. I was wondering what we should do, and I thought it would be good to bring together people of the same age. Then I got in touch with Zico and gathered the members like this."

Yang Se-chan made people laugh by saying the reason for his appearance, saying, "When Bo-pil says, 'When and when will I come out,' I come out. If I don't do well, I say, 'Get out,' and I leave." When asked if he ever felt a generation gap with the '92s, Yang Se-chan said, "I was born in 1992 and was younger than us, so I was worried about fitting in with my friends. In the beginning, I tried to wear clothes like I was younger, but I couldn't. But these guys were like me." “He opened it up to us. We participated in the program as if we were born in 1992.”

Regarding the story behind the name of the program, PD Choi made people laugh by saying, "It was made as a pun, so no matter how much meaning I gave it, it didn't work." He then expressed satisfaction, saying, “In the end, I think it was in line with the direction of the program.”

The program logo was drawn by webtoon writer and YouTuber Chum-chum-man Lee Mal-nyeon. PD Choi joked, "It seems like there are a lot of similar images in entertainment, so I tried to adopt a different image. I personally like it, so I contacted them for business purposes. At first, they were willing to do it, but later they didn't."

Producer Choi, who has experience directing 'Running Man', said, "In 'Running Man', everyone was a veteran, so the missions had to be upgraded, but here, even if we threw in games that could be played on a school field trip, they played well. It was more fun than I expected." pointed out.

Regarding the difference from recent travel entertainment shows, PD Choi said, "No matter how good a place I bring them, these people don't like it or are curious about it. If you watch the first episode, you will see, but they don't even explain the name of the place. It's a snowy field and they are dragged around by bus. Travel entertainment shows. “The charm is that they are not the same,” he said.

Lee Yong-jin said, "Actually, it didn't matter if we filmed on Jebudo Island. The production team may have done a preliminary field trip, but there is more of a vibe watching it among friends," making people laugh. Filming took place in Hokkaido. PD Choi said, "Jebudo is great, but I wanted to go overseas. There are already a lot of places in Southeast Asia, and I thought it would be nice to roll around in the snow, so when I looked for a place, I decided on Hokkaido."

PD Choi said, "I hoped it would be more natural and fun than the planned version. I knew about the two of them (Yang Se-chan, Lee Yong-jin) from the beginning, but it was my first time with the four of them (92's). My initial goal was to make them relax their guard against me, and filming was a breeze. “It was important to make it feel like it was playing,” he explained the point of directing. Regarding the four people, he said, “It will be different from what viewers expect.”

Lee Yong-jin and Yang Se-chan are veterans with a lot of experience in variety shows, but '92Z' has little experience as a regular appearance in entertainment shows. Regarding this, Lee Yong-jin said, "We were frustrated because those friends were veterans. I wondered why I couldn't be active like those friends in the outdoors or be funny like those friends. If my friends had natural laughter, we had to make them laugh. Just try it. "I was envious of the perspective. The natural thing was that it was my friends and we were struggling," he said. He then confessed, “Rather than worrying, I liked the harmony between naturalness and unnaturalness.” Yang Se-chan said, "I'm embarrassed to say I'm a veteran. It was inevitable that the friends were awkward at first, but they adapted as time went by. The four friends were close, so they came together quickly. Because it was an outdoor variety show, the kids were nervous, but they adapted quickly." Lee Yong-jin was confident, “As the episode progresses, the chemistry that makes you wonder, ‘Were the six people always that close?’ will emerge.” Yang Se-chan said, “At first, I thought it was okay for the audio to be blank like this, but it got better the further I went.”

Yang Se-chan said, "I expected D.O to a certain extent because I am close with him, and I also expected Zico and Crush to a certain extent because I saw him on entertainment shows. I thought Junghoon would be cold because he only appeared on music broadcasts and music entertainment shows and never showed himself through entertainment shows. However, "It was a complete reversal. I envy those natural smiles." Yang Se-chan revealed, “Yong-jin was studying,” causing laughter.
