Lee Je-hoon,'Model Taxi 2' nears 20% viewership rating

In the 6th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Model Taxi 2' (written by Oh Sang-ho/directed by Lee Dan/produced by Studio S, Group 8), which aired at 10 pm on the 11th (Saturday), Rainbow Dark Heroes illegally adopted a child to get extra points for apartment subscription. Kang Pil-seung (Kim Do-yoon), a 'real estate villain' who exploits children and commits all kinds of evil deeds, and the sight of him taking revenge on all adults involved in his crimes were portrayed spectacularly. Accordingly, 'Model Taxi 2' recorded the highest viewer rating of 18.1%, 15.5% in the metropolitan area, and 14.4% nationwide, maintaining its box office power by maintaining an overwhelming first place in its time slot despite the onslaught of new dramas. Moreover, the 2049 viewership rating, which is a key indicator of channel competitiveness and topicality, once again broke its own highest viewership rating, recording 7.2% in the metropolitan area. This is the number one record among all Saturday programs and the number one figure among all programs, including dramas and entertainment shows, aired during the week. (Based on Nielsen Korea)
On this day's broadcast, records of the abuse Seoyeon received were revealed, causing shock. Seo-yeon, along with her younger brother Somangi, has been living neglected without proper care in an unlicensed orphanage that is like a prison made of containers, where numerous children are being mobilized for illegal adoption by Pil-seung Kang and the director (Man-dal Yoon). It was a shock.
Meanwhile, Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon) and Go-eun (Pyo Ye-jin), who were caught pretending to be newlyweds by Kang Pil-seung, showed their wits. Do-gi claimed, “We are co-workers who only got married on paper because we wanted a house so much,” and this actually met Kang Pil-seung’s screening criteria. Do-gi and Go-eun caught the eye of Kang Pil-seung and finally faced his ugly bare face. Late at night, Do-gi and Go-eun received a call from Kang Pil-seung and went to the obstetrics and gynecology clinic where they had made an appointment. And Kang Pil-seung requested, “Report the child born here today as your two children.” It was the moment when it was revealed that Kang Pil-seung had been winning an apartment with extra points by registering the birth of a child from an unmarried mother in the name of another couple. In addition, Kang Pil-seung was exploiting the children by taking them after the sale process was completed and then placing them up for adoption by other couples. Furthermore, when couples won the subscription, they lent money and then collected the loan amount unexpectedly, robbing the couple of ownership of the apartment when they were unable to pay.
At the same time, the mother who was scheduled to give birth changed her mind and pleaded that she would raise the child herself. Do-gi and Go-eun, who witnessed an enraged Kang Pil-seung threatening the mother, rang the emergency bell, causing a commotion inside and forcing the mother to escape. Dogi, who finally learned the full story of the incident, began to take revenge in earnest. Do-gi chased after Kang Pil-seung's subordinates who went to catch the evacuated mother and killed her, then protected the mother with Go-eun and safely handed her over to the single mothers' center operated by the Blue Bird Foundation.
The Rainbow Five, whose top priority was to find the whereabouts of the child victims, focused on real estate owned by Kang Pil-seung, and were suspicious of the fact that Kang Pil-seung owned a store that had no investment value. The store in question was a photo studio, and Dogi, who visited the photo studio, was once again faced with a miserable reality. Kang Pil-seung's gang matched children and adoptive parents there and forced them to take family photos, and the next day, the orphanage director and Kang Pil-seung's subordinates brought another child to the photo studio. Dogi, who was hiding, held back the tears that were about to burst out upon seeing the child and offered a heartbreaking apology, saying, "I'm so sorry to the adults." And Do-gi, who decided to take cruel punishment, grabbed the photo studio camera that had scarred the children's hearts and punched Kang Pil-seung and his gang in anger. After finding out the location of the orphanage by threatening the director of the orphanage, who was turned into a mess, he left the photo studio with the child in his arms.
Dogi went to the orphanage to find the children. At this time, Kang Pil-seung, who knew in advance that Do-gi would come through CCTV, dug a trap, trapped Do-gi in a container nursery, set it on fire, loaded the children in the car and fled. Do-gi dissuaded the members who wanted to help him and urged them to chase after Kang Pil-seung and find the children. Following Do-gi's wishes, Joo-im and Go-eun chased Kang Pil-seung's car. Dogi, who was trying to escape from the uncontrollably spreading flames, heard a child crying on the second floor, found a boy hiding in the closet, and escaped through the second floor window with the child in his arms, ending up in a hellish fire pit. They succeeded in rescuing the child from the orphanage.
Afterwards, the Rainbow Five did their best to find the children taken by Kang Pil-seung. Dogi was filled with unbearable anger after receiving a call from CEO Jang saying, "Traces of abuse were found on Seo-yeon's body," and while the members were looking for the children, he found Kang Pil-seung and punished him with a harsh fist. At this time, Kang Pil-seung threatened Do-gi and stopped him from throwing his fists, saying, "If you die here, I will spare the children. But the moment you escape, I will kill the children." At the moment when Do-gi decided to exchange his life with the children, a radio call came from Go-eun saying that the children had been found, and Do-gi finally struck the final blow to Kang Pil-seung's face.
Dogi found a new house that was perfect for Kang Pil-seung. After confiscating all his assets, he was brought to a 'garbage disposal site' and buried in a pile of waste. Representative Jang donated all of Kang Pil-seung's assets to a child fostering agency, and Seoyeon and Somang met good adoptive parents and were embraced by a warm family. But Dogi's revenge didn't end there. Do-gi visits Seo-yeon's adoptive parents and says, "Seo-yeon has two open wounds. From now on, you will have to explain to me why those wounds occurred." He puts an end to his revenge by punishing all the adults who hurt Seo-yeon. It gave an exhilarating thrill and a bitter afterglow.
Meanwhile, on this day's broadcast, the creepy twist of On Ha-jun (played by Shin Jae-ha), the youngest knight of Rainbow Fortune, was revealed, shocking viewers. On Ha-jun was an executive of a black organization that was watching the Rainbow Five. Moreover, at the end of the play, On Ha-jun visits Kang Pil-seung, who has become homeless, and tells him, "Tell me the story about the taxi driver in detail," which caused the tension to soar. Attention is being paid to what the purpose of On Ha-jun, who pulled out creepy claws from behind his foolish and innocent face, is, and what the future holds for Do-gi, who is in danger.
Accordingly, immediately after episode 6 of 'Model Taxi 2' aired, comments were made on social media and various online communities, saying, "It's the best to see Doca Cola being punished in a cool way," "I want to scout Kim Do-gi as a personal article," and "Today's episode was so heartbreaking. As upsetting as it was, the punishment was great." “It was exhilarating,” “Today’s car chase and action were thrilling,” “I’m even more excited because On Ha-joon appears as a full-fledged villain,” “Next week’s pseudo-episode, what’s the timing in this situation? I’m so looking forward to it.”
