In the KBS 2TV Monday-Tuesday drama 'Oasis', which aired on the 14th, the reunion of Lee Doo-hak (played by Jang Dong-yoon) and Oh Shin-shin (Seol In-ah) and the story of Doo-hak, Shin Jung, and Choi Cheol-woong (played by Choo Young-woo) pioneering their own paths a year later. was drawn. According to Nielsen Korea, a viewership rating research company, the 4th episode of 'Oasis', which aired on this day, recorded 6.4% nationwide and 6.2% in the metropolitan area, maintaining its position as the No. 1 Monday-Tuesday drama. The scene that recorded the highest viewership rating per minute was the ‘reunion scene of classmates from two departments and a prison’, which recorded 7.2% both nationwide and in the metropolitan area.

Previously, the 4th episode of 'Oasis' depicted the story of Doo-hak, who lives at the bottom of his life after being released from prison, pretending not to be like that on the outside, but unable to forget his spirit, watching from afar and doing his best to save Cheol-woong from danger. The process of three young people living difficult lives in a turbulent era and pioneering a new life became more interesting.

Doo-hak's attention was captured by the spirit coming out of the Taeyang Film Studio building. His whole mind was focused on the spirit. He was brave enough to throw himself at Cha Geum-ok (played by Kang Ji-eun) in order to reclaim the Namhae Theater, but when no one was watching, he showed his weak heart and strengthened his will, causing regret. Duhak felt sorry for such a spirit, but could not come forward.

The reason why Doohak broke up with Jeongshin in the past was revealed. It was because of my father’s earnest request. Duhak could not bear to defy his father's request, which was the last wish of his life. The spirit, whose background is unknown, calls out to the empty sky for Duhak and misses him, but thinks about his current shabby situation and says, “It was better for us to break up rather than see you and me living in such a miserable situation. “You did well,” he tried to console her.

Doo-hak reunited with his cellmates Kim Hyeong-ju (played by Do Sang-woo), Kim Gil-soo (played by Song Tae-yoon), and Jo Seon-woo (played by Ahn Dong-yeop). The terrible relationship with Yoo Young-pil (played by Jang Young-hyun), the head of the Tak-i faction, goes back to prison. Because of the bullying from Yeongpil's gang, Duhak became a regular at the punishment room, and became stronger by training his physical strength in the punishment room.

The bad relationship between Doo-hak and Yeong-pil continued once again when Doo-hak captured the heart of Tak-i's boss, Yeom Gwang-tak (played by Han Jae-young). As Gwangtak's second-in-command, Duhak won Gwangtak's heart and expanded his power by capturing Yeongpil's subordinates. Gwang-tak began to trust Doo-hak even more as the business' sales increased and accidents within the organization disappeared. Duhak’s success and success really touched Yeongpil’s heart.

Shin Seong-eun sought to expand his business as Namdo Theater's Seoul branch manager and gained Geum-ok's trust even more. It proudly broke the distribution company triangle that dominated the Gyeonggang (Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do) region. The spirit took control of the central film distribution company and made a deal to give it a 30% stake if it achieved 50% distribution in the Gyeonggang region. Geumok admired the distribution of spirit.

The reunion of the two academics and minds left scratches on both of them. Jeong-shin appears in a situation where Doo-hak steals the female lead of a movie Geum-ok invested in under Gwang-tak's instructions. When Jung-shin saw Doo-hak become a gangster, he got angry and slapped him. “Lee Doo-hak is such a piece of trash,” he said harshly, but later on, Jeong-shin’s sincerity showed his sadness as he cried and begged, “Please take Doo-hak out,” telling Cheol-woong that he felt sorry for Doo-hak, who was born as a laborer and ended up living the life of a gangster. I brought it up. Duhak also soothed his suffering with alcohol.

Cheolwoong, who observed Doo-hak's spirit still unable to forget him, revealed his decision to Doo-hak. He asked Doo-hak if he could associate with the spirit instead of becoming a prosecutor as Doo-hak wanted. Doo-hak said that he had no relationship with Seong-shik, but said, “But don’t date me…” “It’s annoying to see me turning into a gangster next to you,” he objected. Cheolwoong was angry at Duhak’s opposition.

A year later, Cheolwoong passed the bar exam. Kang Yeo-jin (played by Kang Kyung-heon) asked Hwang Chung-seong (played by Jeon No-min) for help, saying that Cheol-woong wanted to become a prosecutor. At the same time, Cheolwoong confessed that he was Jeongyeon's biological son, foreshadowing a shocking development. Cheolwoong said, “I’m thinking of going out and starting something else… He once again provoked Duhak by saying, “Make me my woman.” Doohak gets angry at this and grabs Cheolwoong by the collar. Their appearance decorated the ending of episode 4.

The once pure Doo-hak, Seong-si, and Cheol-woong were swept up in an era of upheaval and changed. Duhak, who became the second in command of the organization, realized that just adapting to the times like his father was not the solution. Doo-hak’s changed attitude, “In this crooked world, it is right to live crookedly,” attracted attention. The spirit went under Geumok to reclaim his father's theater, but he grew to the next level by demonstrating distribution that shook up the movie industry. Cheolwoong, who passed the bar exam, was revealed to be his biological father, a powerful man, and it was predicted that he would become a prosecutor, adding to the tension.

'Oasis' is a drama that tells the story of three young people who fiercely sacrifice themselves to protect their dreams, friendship, and first love, the only love of their lives, set against the backdrop of Korea's turbulent times from the 1980s to the 1990s.
