Hwang Je-seong “Sam Smith’s agency came to visit me, I’m just a clown”

Broadcaster Hwang Je-seong explained the process of parodying singer Sam Smith's 'Unholy'.

Comedian Hwang Je-seong, dancer Monica, and rapper Raewon appeared as guests on cable channel tvN's 'Amazing Saturday', which aired on the afternoon of the 18th.

On this day, Hwang Je-seong mentioned Sam Smith's 'Unholy'. He said, "One day, I suddenly received a lot of DMs. I looked into it and realized that a singer named Sam Smith had released an album called 'Unholy' and it looked similar to mine."

He continued, "People were asking for it a lot, so I made a cosplay and uploaded it. People liked it so much that it spread the word. Then, Sam Smith personally contacted me saying 'Hi Jesung' and thanking me."

He showed off his unique eloquence, saying, "Even his agency came to see me. He asked me to look at other celebrities from his agency, and they were singers like Maroon 5. I'm just a clown."
