'You Quiz' Lee Ji-seon, Ewha Womans University professor "promoted" 23 years after full-body burn
The tvN entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block', which aired on the 22nd, featured a special 'lucky happy enjoy' and featured pianist Seong-jin Cho, actor Do-hyun Lee, and Ji-sun Lee, a professor at the Department of Social Welfare at Ewha Womans University.
Professor Lee Ji-seon suffered burns all over her body in a car accident when she was a 23-year-old college student. Professor Ji-seon Lee returned to her alma mater after 23 years and took the podium.
Professor Lee Ji-seon was discharged from the hospital seven months later, but she needed time to adjust to how she had changed from before. He said, “I gained skin, but I went home looking completely different from what I expected. “The process of accepting my new self was difficult,” he confessed. However, he said that he gradually got used to it by thinking about the feelings of the people who loved him more than his appearance and saying hello to him.
Professor Lee Ji-seon previously appeared on ‘Human Theater’. He said, “The sound I hated hearing the most at the time was the sound of clicking one’s tongue. I always heard it. They say they (family members) don't like being looked at like that when they go on TV. “Some people were unique, so I came back and saw them on the way,” he said. “I thought I could make life a little easier.” “I hoped that when other Ji-seons came out into the world, they would look at me and think, ‘You’re living a good life like Ji-seon,’” he said.
Professor Ji-seon Lee went to the United States to study in 2004. After completing my studies, I returned to Korea and began teaching social welfare. Professor Lee Ji-seon, who is currently working at her alma mater, Ewha Womans University, said, “You have to study hard. You have to work hard to get promoted. “I’m also an office worker,” he said, holding his head and laughing.
