Lee Sang-won, a former firefighter, suffers from social phobia and panic disorder

In TV CHOSUN's 'Star Documentary My Way', which airs at 7:50 pm on the 26th, Lee Sang-won, an original member of the '0 generation idol group' Fire Truck, reveals his current status for the first time in a long time.
Lee Sang-won debuted in 1987 as part of Korea's first three-member idol dance group, Fire Truck. The fire truck caused a sensation by showing unconventional performances that were unfamiliar in Korea at the time, such as doing somersaults on stage and throwing the microphone.
Lee Sang-won, who was grateful for the great love from his fans but felt it was a burden, ended up leaving the fire truck a year after his debut, and had to endure a difficult time because he was seen as having betrayed the fire truck. Afterwards, he worked as a producer and member as 'Ink' in 1994, and in 1995, Fire Truck reunited and worked as 'G Cafe'. However, due to a plagiarism dispute, he had to suspend his activities again and lead a difficult life.
Lee Sang-won released his solo album 'Party' in 2017 to make a comeback. However, his dream of making a comeback comes to nothing when he gets into a car accident six weeks ago during his career. Unable to be active and eventually forced to go bankrupt, he had to go through a difficult time again, to the point where he developed social phobia and panic disorder. Lee Sang-won honestly confesses his difficult feelings at the time, saying, "When people asked, I smiled and talked about it, but it was so hard. I felt like I was in that dark place."
Composer Joo Young-hoon visits ‘Star Documentary My Way’ for Lee Sang-won. The two people met after 30 years and exchanged greetings without hesitation as if they had met yesterday. Joo Young-hoon was happy to say, “As we talked about old times, it felt like we had skipped time and met just 2 or 3 years ago.” Joo Young-hoon, who composed Fire Truck's 4th album title song 'G Cafe', said, "In the end, (the song) was not plagiarism, but just a plagiarism dispute. But after that, people started looking for me a lot," and said that his name became better known and he became a star composer. It tells a story with a twist. The endless talk of memories between two men who met for the first time in 30 years will be revealed on the air.
The story of Lee Sang-won, who wants to leave behind the splendid glory and pain and now move toward ordinary happiness, can be seen on 'Star Documentary My Way' at 7:50 pm on the 26th.
