Kim Go-eun's character, Kim Yumi, finds her love cells reawakening as she develops feelings for Kim Jae-won's character, Shin Soon-rok, in the latest episode of tvN's 'Yumi's Cells Season 3'.

The episode, which aired on the 21st at 8:50 PM, showcased Kim Yumi's growing infatuation with Shin Soon-rok. Before going to bed, Yumi overanalyzes Shin Soon-rok's text messages and emojis, and later, at a hotel buffet, she starts piling her plate with food upon realizing that only Ahn Dae-yong (played by Jeon Seok-ho) is present.

Yumi internally remarks, "I dressed up for nothing," and decides to indulge in sushi, which Ahn Dae-yong had recommended. As she is serving herself, Shin Soon-rok appears, and Yumi becomes self-conscious.

Her cells express relief, saying, "Good thing you dressed up," while commenting on her appearance. Shin Soon-rok notices her choice of sushi and remarks, "You must like sushi," to which Yumi responds, "The editor said it was good." However, Shin Soon-rok reveals, "I don't like sushi," and starts serving himself sausages.

Yumi finds Shin Soon-rok's preference for sausages and chicken endearing, noting his lack of interest in vegetables. Later, she sees him entering a café after a walk and seizes the opportunity to strike up a conversation, pretending to meet him by chance. She asks if he enjoys walking, hinting at her desire to join him.

Shin Soon-rok admits he likes night walks, and Yumi eagerly expresses her shared interest, hoping to accompany him. When their drinks arrive, Yumi discovers that Shin Soon-rok's café nickname is 'Rudolph,' which she finds adorable due to his name's similarity to the reindeer. Her affection for him grows, but she is taken aback when Shin Soon-rok asks about her age, assuming she is much older.
