‘Joseon’s Lover’ made in forced pink color

Only the production team was excited. Another random blind date.

In the TV CHOSUN entertainment program 'Joseon's Lover' that aired on the 27th, a scene was depicted where Oh Na-mi introduced her husband's acquaintance to her best friend Kim Min-kyung.

On this day, Oh Na-mi secretly planned a blind date, asking Kim Min-kyung to be a witness for the marriage registration. The blind date was an acquaintance of her husband, Park Min, and a former soccer player. Oh Na-mi and Park Min showed more interest in Min-kyung Kim's blind date than in registering their own marriage.

The blind date who appeared at the meeting place created a warm feeling with his appearance resembling soccer player Son Heung-min. Additionally, she was 8 years younger than Kim Min-kyung.

Kim Min-kyung expressed her interest in the blind date by saying, "Do you like jamon? Please eat it all." Oh Nami was surprised and said, “You’re giving me all that.” The blind date man also responded positively, saying, "I knew it was a blind date with Min-kyung Kim, so I came out. Everyone around me said only good things about Min-kyung Kim."

In fact, no one knows whether Kim Min-kyung will end up in a relationship with the blind date. But viewers don't have any expectations. It's because I know that it's an issue center for the broadcast rather than because the excitement point was stimulated.

Also, Kim Min-kyung has numerous love lines in entertainment. The representative hot guy is comedian Song Byeong-cheol. The two appeared on other entertainment shows and confessed that they had feelings for each other in the past, but that was the end of it. It was a funny moment for only viewers who felt excited by the entertainers' pink air even though they thought it was a skit.

Song Byeong-cheol wasn't the only guy Kim Min-kyung had a crush on. In another entertainment show, he confessed that he had been in love with singer Koo Bon-seung for 28 years. Kim Min-kyung and Koo Bon-seung spent time together in Jeju Island and seemed like lovers. Is it because the pink couple chemistry between the two people has become so popular? Koo Bon-seung also visited the mukbang program where Kim Min-kyung regularly appears.

The problem is not just Kim Min-kyung, who confesses her love by creating love lines with this man and that man on every show. There are too many precedents for viewers criticizing blind dates that do not fit the nature of the program. If attempts at a forced love line are repeated, viewers may become tired.

Regarding the intention of 'Joseon's Lovers', they introduced, "It is a program that deals with the daily lives of lovers before an event called marriage, and it deals with their love stories." In fact, Oh Nami and his wife, who have already been married for 6 months, are also participating in the program. It doesn't fit the purpose. Rather, even though there are many controversies, the story of Lee Yong-sik and his daughter fits well with the intent of the broadcast.

Is there really a need to direct a love line between a lover and a ‘best friend’? Even with existing central characters, it is possible to create a highly topical story.

The production team's attempts to increase the fun of the program may actually be toxic to Kim Min-kyung, who is trying to find true love. It's a bonus that the identity of the broadcast is also lost.
