Jang Geun-suk "It's been 31 years since I debuted, but I'm taking 'acting classes'"

“Before doing this work, I was very stubborn, so I took acting lessons for a few months. People around me were skeptical. Part 1 tells the story of what happens after the worst conman of all time, who died eight years ago, is identified as a suspect in a serial murder. In Part 2 of 'Bait', which will be released on the 7th, the drama is led by people chasing the guy who has risen to the surface along with a serial murder case to the end. The hidden truth between them, who deceive and deceive each other, is expected to be revealed.

In this work, Jang Geun-suk plays the role of Goo Do-han, the head of the violent crime investigation team. ‘Bait’ is the work that Jang Geun-suk presents to fans for the first time in five years. As there was a long hiatus, numerous questions were asked about his comeback during the interview. He confessed, “I was often asked, ‘Why aren’t you on TV these days?’ and I was scared every time I heard that.”

He explained, “But I needed time to rest. I have never had a break until now.” He added, “When I look back on the past days, rather than thinking that I did a good job, I think that I did a lot.”

Jang Geun-suk, who seemed like he would make a comeback with a romantic comedy, completely broke the mold. Returned to a dark ‘genre’. It was a side of Jang Geun Suk that had never been seen before. He has a bushy beard, wears only dark clothes, and looks quite serious.

He said, “When I was fated to create something different from the past 30 years, a work called ‘Bait’ came to me. “It’s not that I chose it because it was a genre work, but while I was taking a break, the shiny image of myself that I had built up until then fell away, and I was able to start from scratch.” It was. “It was fateful,” he emphasized.

He also expressed his gratitude to the fans who always supported him despite new challenges. Jang Geun-suk said, “This time, while filming at the ‘Bait’ studio, our fans sent a food truck 45 out of 50 times. The staff also provided strong support to the point where they said it was their first time on set like this. I know that the mindset is, ‘Don’t be discouraged by my actors’. “I think I should repay that much,” he expressed.
