Jang Na-ra vs. Chae Jeong-an, a tense fight at a luxury bar
tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Family', which will be aired for the first time on April 17, is a thrilling family-fighting espionage comedy about the husband, a black agent of the National Intelligence Service who disguises his identity as an ordinary office worker, and his sweet and bitter wife who dreams of a perfect family. EP (Executive Producer) Jang Jeong-do, who has executive produced a number of hit films such as the dramas 'Live', 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim', 'The Man Who Became King', 'Our Blues', 'Embrace', and 'The Island', is directing. This is the fourth work with actors Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara.
Jang Nara plays the role of Kang Yu-ra, a 9th dan housewife. She is a smart wife who fills in the weaknesses of her husband Kwon Do-hoon (played by Jang Hyuk), and she shows off her appearance as the most powerful person in the family, working hard for her family. Chae Jeong-an will play the role of Oh Cheon-ryeon, a professional NIS operative who is the gunner for Kang Yu-ra's husband Kwon Do-hoon (played by Jang Hyuk). She will show chemistry with Kwon Do-hoon as a gunner and a subtle wariness with Kang Yu-ra.
The released masterpiece still shows the unusual side of Kang Yu-ra and Oh Cheon-ryeon. The photo shows a two-shot of Kang Yu-ra and Oh Cheon-ryeon facing each other in a luxurious bar. The sight of Kang Yu-ra and Oh Cheon-ryeon, who look unshaken even after drinking several bottles of liquor, along with the bottles of liquor piled up between the two, makes the viewers' mouths drop open.
The contrasting expressions of Kang Yu-ra and Oh Cheon-ryeon attract attention. Kang Yu-ra is staring at Oh Cheon-ryeon with resolute eyes with her mouth tightly shut. The sight of Kang Yu-ra sitting upright and clenching her fists creates tension as one can feel the anger boiling towards Oh Cheon-ryeon. On the other hand, Oh Cheon-ryeon is looking at Kang Yu-ra's reaction leisurely, holding a glass of wine as if she is interested, raising curiosity about what is going on.
This is a face-to-face meeting between Kang Yu-ra, who is number one in the family, to figure out the identity and intentions of Oh Cheon-ryeon, the problematic master who calls out her husband Kwon Do-hoon at any time, including during important family events. However, Oh Cheon-ryeon is smiling regardless of Kang Yu-ra's anger, predicting a tense battle between the two. I am curious about what kind of stories will be exchanged while many drinks are exchanged, and the scene of the masterpiece of the sisters, who are even strong drinkers.
'Family' is scheduled to premiere on April 17th at 8:50 PM.
