'Boy's Fantasy' exploded at Japan's Abema. Discussions on expanding the performance venue
MBC's 'Boys' Fantasy' is discussing changing the venue of the fan concert due to a response that exceeded expectations.

On the 7th, Funky Studio, the production company of 'Boy's Fantasy', said, "We are discussing expanding the 5,000-seat 'Boy's Fantasy' fan concert scheduled to be held at the Tokyo International Forum in Japan in July to a 7,000- seat venue."

Originally, 'Boys' Fantasy' announced that it would hold a 5,000-seat fan concert at the Tokyo International Forum in Japan in mid-July. However, inquiries regarding the concert are pouring in from not only Japanese but also Asian fans, and discussions are underway on a 7,000-seat concert hall with 40% more seats so that more fans can enjoy the performance.

Previously, 'Boy's Fantasy' was confirmed to be broadcast simultaneously with ABEMA, an OTT service that is gaining great popularity in Japan, and interest in Japanese participants also surged as Abema entered into its first strategic partnership with a domestic audition program.

In addition, even before the program started, Yoo Jun-won, who had made a name for himself in Japan as a member of the Hive Japan auditions, was posted on the Japanese Twitter real-time trend, garnering enthusiastic responses. As news of Japanese participants such as former Japanese fencer Hikaru, cute-looking Hikari, Yuuma and Hayato, and Shiryu spread, they became the center of attention even before the broadcast.

'Boy Fantasy', produced by PD Han Dong-cheol, a 'hit maker in the audition world', is an idol survival audition program where 54 boys from all over the world dream of becoming a global K-pop boy group. It can be viewed in a total of 12 countries, including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. TVXQ's Max Changmin was the sole host, and K-pop artists including 2PM's Wooyoung and Jinyoung, Winner's Kang Seungyoon, and (G)I-DLE's Soyeon gathered in one place.

Meanwhile, 'Boys' Fantasy' is simultaneously broadcast every Thursday at 10 PM on MBC and Japan's OTT Abema.
