Hyun Jin-young and Oh Seo-woon began dating in 2000 and got married in 2013. The two have attempted IVF treatment more than 10 times since getting married.

On that day's broadcast, Oh Seo-woon said, "I think (this time) is the last time and I wish I could do it one more time, right?" Hyun Jin-young said, “Why not do it?” Oh Seo-woon explained, "I'm a little disappointed. I originally planned on not doing it after doing it twice last year."

In an interview with the production team of 'Salimnam 2', Oh Seo-woon said, "I was 36-37 years old at the time of marriage, and my husband was 41-42 years old. I thought that children would come naturally if you put your mind to it. As I lived a busy life, one day I turned 40. “I am over 20 years old, and my husband is in his mid-40s.”

He continued, "I tried (the test tube) first, and at first I thought I could do it once or twice. After going through it two or three times, I was doing it all the time (16 times). If I keep doing this and menopause comes, I won't be able to do it again. I'm also afraid of menopause. “To be honest, there is no guarantee that I won’t go through menopause next year. That’s why I asked my husband to give it one last try.”

Hyun Jin-young said, "Right now, my heart is worried about my honey's body. These days, we live in an age of 100, and as long as you are healthy, what does age have to do with it? I came out when my father was 44. I was embarrassed to have my father come to school. My father was my age. I hated coming to school because I knew it was a lot. When I give birth to a child and the child enters elementary school, he or she will be 60 years old. My child may think that I am embarrassed. How long can I stay by my child's side and how long should I provide financial support? “I’m afraid they will do it,” he said.

Oh Seo-woon said, "Even if I'm supposed to do the test tube next year, I can't do it because I don't have the stamina. I hope to take care of my health this year and think of it as my last time and do it at least once." Hyun Jin-young said, “Then let’s just do it once.” Afterwards, the two visited the hospital. Hyun Jin-young asked the doctor in charge, “Director, is the test done better than before?” The doctor in charge said, "In Mr. Oh Seo-un's case, there is no hormonal imbalance and he is maintaining an average level. In the case of your husband, the sperm count has increased significantly compared to the test done early last year. However, it is still well above the normal range. Mobility is about 60%. “The shape has changed,” he replied.

Hyun Jin-young's sperm head had many abnormal shapes. The doctor said, “Jangseong-shaped affairs are only 1%.” Hyun Jin-yeong asked, “I am a descendant of King Kim Su-ro of the Gimhae Heo clan.
