Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara, who came together for the fourth time, were confident that their chemistry had become stronger. Jang Na-ra, who is making her comeback after marriage, expressed her desire for box office success, saying, "I hope it succeeds. I want to succeed."

On the 12th, the production presentation for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Family' was broadcast live online. Actors Jang Hyuk, Jang Na-ra, Chae Jeong-an, Kim Nam-hee, and director Jang Jeong-do attended the event.

'Family' is a thrilling family-fighting espionage comedy about a husband who is a black agent of the National Intelligence Service who disguises his identity as an ordinary office worker and his sweet and bitter wife who dreams of a perfect family.

Director Jang Jeong-do introduced, “It's a story about family and trust in the people around you.”

Director Jang then said, "I wanted to see the combination of Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk again, but they readily gave the OK. Even during filming, there were things the two could communicate just through their eyes, even without speaking. We filmed happily to the point where there was almost no directing."

Jang Hyuk plays the role of Kwon Do-hoon, a black agent of the National Intelligence Service who disguises his identity as a manager of a trading company outside the house, but is the lowest ranking person inside the house.

Previously, Jang Hyuk attracted attention with his 'missing eyebrows' still cut. In response, Jang Hyuk said, "I wasn't without eyebrows. I put on makeup and got help from CG." He added, "When I first saw this drama, I couldn't help but choose Jang Na-ra, Chae Jeong-an, and Kim Nam-hee, but there was only one eyebrow. "I got caught. I had no other concerns. It was my first time in my life. “It was a challenge for me,” he said.

When asked how he felt about trying comedy for the first time in a long time, Jang Hyuk jokingly said, "If only I had shaved my eyebrows, I would have done everything," and added, "There are a lot of ad-libs . During filming, it became fun to fill in the empty spaces. Until then, I had played heavy roles. "At first, it didn't start well. But the director of photography told a lot of old jokes. I ended up laughing, and I think it became fun as the atmosphere relaxed."

Jang Hyuk married ballerina Kim Yeo-jin, who is two years older than him, in 2008, and they have two sons and a daughter. When asked about the actual rank in the family, Jang Hyuk made people laugh by saying, "I am treated like a human being." In response, Jang Na-ra said, “I like my wife so much that I stood and listened to her brag for 15 minutes.”

Jang Na-ra takes on the role of Kang Yu-ra, a 9th dan housewife who is number one in the family and is a 'strong master who hides her strength'. Jang Na-ra said, "Kang Yoo-ra is by far the number one in the family. She received full support and love from her family and built up a lot of trust. Her husband's rank is near the underground bedrock." Jang Na-ra said about actress Shin Su-ah, who plays her daughter Kwon Min-seo, "She is a shocking cutie. Actor Shin Su-ah is very smart. In reality, there are times when I want to say something as clever as the script. We feel like an odd family, and Min-seo is at the center of it. Really. “It's lovely,” he said, expressing his affection.

Jang Na-ra chose 'Family' as her first work after marriage. When asked if there was a difference before and after marriage in acting as a housewife, she said, "I don't feel a big difference. It was the same in 'Confession Couple', but in 'Family', I have no choice. but to risk my life for my family. My family is my everything and my life. “She is a woman who cannot help but be someone who can be changed. I focused on that when acting,” he said.

Jang Na-ra also mentioned her husband, a cinematographer who is six years younger than her. He said, "I didn't have a big fight (after getting married) with my husband, but I think I developed the skill of smiling with my mouth but urging with my eyes."

What kind of person is Jang Na-ra as a wife? He expressed his affection by saying, "She's fun, but is she a wife who goes out to work a lot?" and "I'm an I on the MBTI scale, but when I'm with my husband, I get an E. She dances, too. I think she's fun."

'Family' is Jang Hyuk and Jang Na-ra's fourth work together in 9 years after 'The Success Story of a Cheerful Girl', 'I Love You Like Fate', and '2014 Drama Festival - Old Goodbye'. Jang Hyuk said, "I think the feeling about maturation is accurate. I did well in the past, but now I think my density has improved a lot. No matter how romantic or comedic it is, it's not easy to settle down in reality if you're too excited, but if you act with Jang Na-ra, you'll settle down. “It's easy to do,” he said.

He then expressed his special feelings, saying, "For the first work, we met as singles. For the second time, we became a couple, but we had no children. In this work, we had a child."

Jang Na-ra said, "The content of the drama was very interesting, but senior Jang Hyuk said that I would be co-starring, so I said, 'I have to do it.' I haven't had much conversation with senior Jang Hyuk so far, but he accepted everything very comfortably. He took care of everything I missed. “I think I might have been the Wright brothers in my past life,” he said, adding, “I want to go all the way to ‘Country Diary’ with senior Jang Hyuk.” Jang Hyuk added, “We decided to meet in a historical drama next time.”

Jang Na-ra said, “I felt like I was falling into a well while filming. “I am confident that I will have unimaginable fun.”

'Family' will premiere on April 17th at 8:50 PM.
