Do-woo “BL’s ‘Unintentional Love Story’ is refreshing”
On the afternoon of the 17th, I met actor Do-woo, who appeared in the TV drama 'Unintentional Love Story' (hereinafter 'Bi Love Story'), at Ten Asia's headquarters in Jungnim-dong, Seoul.
'Biyeondam' is a romantic drama that tells the story of two men who fall in love for real after a relationship that started with a lie. Do-woo played the role of Kim Dong-hee, the owner of a handsome cafe.
Do-woo returned about 7 years after appearing on SBS' 'Our Gap-soon'. He said, "I served in the military, returned to school, and studied directing. I also made two short films and also filmed a drama, although it was not aired. After moving to my current company, I started working again with the mindset of making a fresh start."
Why did you choose the BL drama ‘Biyeondam’ as your comeback work? Doe said, "I received the synopsis and found it interesting, so I looked for the original work, and the original work was attractive. It wasn't something like, 'I have to try it because it's a BL drama.' The work itself was fresh to me. I auditioned and started filming." reported.
‘Biyeondam’ ended on the 14th. In the first week of April, it ranked 5th in TV-OTT combined topicality, and also ranked 8th in overall paid subscription contribution on TVING.
