‘Queen Maker’ Kim Hee-ae did Kim Hee-ae

The Netflix series 'Queen Maker' was released on the 14th and ranked first in Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and ranked fifth worldwide (based on Flix Patrol).
In this work, Kim Hee-ae played the role of Hwang Do-hee, once again proving her acting skills of a different class. Hwang Do-hee is the head of the strategic planning department within Eunsung Group and is the best ‘image maker’ in Korea who prevents owner risks without any flaws. However, after encountering Eunsung Group's ugly evil deeds, his conscience awakens and he struggles to make Oh Kyung-sook (played by Moon So-ri), who is united by a strong sense of justice, the mayor of Seoul.
In the work, Kim Hee-ae captured the tension of the play with her unrivaled charisma and passionate performance that crossed between emotional explosion and restraint. Kim Hee-ae's character play, which was filled with meticulousness and deep insight that did not let any scene go to waste, left a great impression.
Kim Hee-ae said through her agency YG Entertainment on the 18th, "It was a special work that made me feel like I had grown along with Hwang Do-hee, who started out as a low-income person, worked his way up to a large company, and fought against huge powers. It was an honor to be able to act with professional actors, and I was finally able to meet them. “I am thrilled to be able to see acting on screen again,” he said, expressing his feelings about the release of ‘Queen Maker’.
He also expressed his wish, saying, “I hope that ‘Queen Maker’ will be an opportunity for the world to know that there are good dramas with such suspenseful themes in Korea, and that great actors are working hard to act.”
