Kim Woo-bin, 'Delivery Driver', but the reason why the title is 'Black Knight'

'The Delivery Driver' is a Netflix series depicting what happens on the Korean Peninsula in the future, where oxygen respirators are essential due to extreme air pollution, and what happens between legendary delivery driver 5-8 (played by Kim Woo-bin) and refugee Sa-wol as they confront the Cheonmyeong Group that rules the new world.
The released poster depicts delivery drivers who have gone beyond simply delivering oxygen and daily necessities to protecting everyone. Unlike the existing courier uniforms, people wearing black masks and black hats, centering around 5-8, are wearing black clothes, raising curiosity. Kim Woo-bin said, "During the day, like regular delivery drivers, we deliver packages in our respective areas. At night, we help the lives of refugees and think together about how we can all live well together with them." 'Black Knight', which is also the English title of '.
Director Eui-seok pointed out the difference, saying, "It is not a deliveryman as you commonly think in English. I thought it would be a good idea to select people from among the delivery drivers and name the organization they work in as Black Knight." The deserted Earth has become a turbid world where oxygen has become the greatest resource that determines survival, and the supply of oxygen is a matter of class distinction. Attention is being paid to the activities of the Cheonmyeong Group, which seeks to control oxygen and solidify the class, and the Black Knights, who have gathered to destroy the social order they have created.
‘The Delivery Driver’ will be released exclusively on Netflix on May 12th.
